Vlad Hodrea CAPTURA SONORǍ ESTE DIN TIMPUL WALK-ULUI ECHIPAMENT AUDIO : microfoane MicroUŠI , Zoom H4n pro ECHIPAMENT FOTO ANALOG: Canon Prima Super 115, film Street Candy ATM400, ISO 400

how real is what we hear? lately i’ve been reading @elena_biserna "Going Out: Walking, Listening, Soundmaking", and it did to me something so simple yet radical: it brought back into my sense and focus that listening can be a small act of resistance to daily noise and to the algorithms that pretend to know us better and better. on 28 august, 19:00, i’ll lead a sound walk in the frames of 👾 “Reflections on East–West perspectives” performative installation at the @goethe_institut_bucuresti. the exhibition remembers a time when people from Romania were being listened to, privacy being close to non existent; this walk invites us to listen back for once. think of this sound walk as a practice of attention: tuning the ear until the ordinary turns luminous. for ~90 minutes we’ll attend to anthrophony (human / human-made sound — engines, machines, footsteps) blending with threads of biophony (non-human life) across the soundscapes we’ll cross. we’ll ask what remains of the past in today’s city, and what has gone quiet. sign up via the link on my profile 🟢 also, do not miss the opening tonight, 25.08, 19h00 @goethe_institut_bucuresti, calea dorobanți 32: Oscar Loeser’s live video performance soundtracked by @vlaicugolcea.
 hear you soon 👂
