So it’s taken me a couple days to process our film’s premiere from Saturday night. I just wanted to say how grateful I am to have had such a great turn out and support from a lot of my family, friends (old and new), and many others from the community. Thank you to @thebeerdedbean @eyeofness for allowing us to fill up their space to showcase this film, a love letter, part of many other letters I have for Salinas and the artists from here. Thank you to my team @jacquelineeleon @reyesfilms @horriblejonny_ @carlosrcastromedia for trusting the vision I had for this project and thank you for all of your creative contributions. I’m ready for what’s next, I have more in me and I can’t wait for everyone to see! Photos by: @serafinmora 📷📸 taken in Salinas, California by @ivanoftheramirez

“A chicana, lost and in search for some inspiration.”

Here’s the teaser trailer for my new film, “El Amor Que Queda”, a personal film that I’ve been working on with an awesome group of people that I’m beyond grateful for. I am overwhelmed in a great way and I can’t wait for everyone to come out and see it @thebeerdedbean

If you step out my front door, you’re met with Fremont Peak in the distance, its antennas and mountainside catching light from each sunset, watching quietly over the valley. Growing up, I used to wonder about what lived there. Recently, I finally got to explore the peak with a drone for KSBW’s engineering department. #djimavic3cine #dronecinematography taken in Fremont Peak by @ivanoftheramirez

Grateful to share a piece of work that means a lot to me.

My short film “Old Stage Road” will be screening in Watsonville on Friday 3/13 and in Salinas on Thursday 3/19. The film follows Leo, a man struggling with the same rage that destroyed his father. After one brutal night, he finds himself on a haunted stretch of road where something is waiting for men like him.

It’s a story about anger, the cycles we inherit, and the fear of becoming someone you never wanted to be.

We’ll see how it goes….

Thank you @tgwtcitc for helping me put this together 🙏🏽🎥🎞️.
