My mother tells me to fix my hair.
And by “fix,” she means straighten.
She means whiten.
But how do you fix this shipwrecked history of hair?
The rope chains,
the anchor,
the way it’s not a lifeboat at all,
but more a current
dragging you toward unfamiliar shores.

Letting the moment breathe and catching every reaction as it naturally unfolded. Truly an honor being trusted to preserve memories like these.

Tracking that approach through the breeze and catching the exact second his composure broke. Grateful for the trust to document moments like this.

The mic captures the conversation, but the real energy happens in the spaces in between. BTS from the latest session with @metroboomin

Today was one of the toughest production days of the year. After 24+ hours without sleep, I got word that our gaffer’s @atl.gaffer flight had been canceled multiple times and he wouldn’t make it to Montgomery for our final formal interview.

For a moment, I wasn’t sure how we’d pull it off.

But God showed up.

With a stripped down crew, minimal gear, and a lot of faith, we captured an incredible interview with Bryan Stevenson and officially wrapped all formal interviews for the documentary.

Today’s reminder: God wants us to put our trust in Him

Grateful for the team. Grateful for the journey. God is good.

Special thank you to @yanville for making the connection!
