Last night was truly special. The room was filled with incredible energy, love, and support for Garner. Our 7-minute teaser left the crowd inspired and motivated many to contribute toward helping us bring this film to the finish line.

A very special thank you to our producer, @attorneycrump , who couldn’t be with us physically due to last minute work related to the Nolan Wells case. He still made time to join us via Zoom and share encouraging words and support for the project. We’re incredibly grateful.

A special thank you to our Executive Producer Zack, Gwen Carr, and our Director @dr.arshleyemile for leading a powerful, encouraging, and deeply motivating panel discussion. Your voices and presence made the evening even more meaningful.

That’s just who he is always putting others first and never seeking attention for himself, only making sure the talent and the project shine. Your selflessness and heart do not go unnoticed, and I’m beyond grateful to have you by my side.

I don’t usually like being in front of the camera. I rarely post photos of myself, and I almost never take pictures with the people I interview. But my producers and business partners have always encouraged me to step into the frame.

I’m grateful I did.

Thank you, Oh Htoo, for seeing me in ways I never saw myself.

Yesterday, I also had what I believe was the best interview of my career. After more than 10 years of interviewing everyone from celebrities to everyday people with extraordinary stories, this one was different. The conversation felt less like an interview and more like two brothers talking. Honest. Real. Healing.

Still processing it.

To God be the glory.

Today was one of the toughest production days of the year. After 24+ hours without sleep, I got word that our gaffer’s @atl.gaffer flight had been canceled multiple times and he wouldn’t make it to Montgomery for our final formal interview.

For a moment, I wasn’t sure how we’d pull it off.

But God showed up.

With a stripped down crew, minimal gear, and a lot of faith, we captured an incredible interview with Bryan Stevenson and officially wrapped all formal interviews for the documentary.

Today’s reminder: God wants us to put our trust in Him

Grateful for the team. Grateful for the journey. God is good.
