This is the most powerful prayer you will ever learn, and so very simple:

May my ori accept that which is meant for me and reject that which is not. Ase!

Ifa tells us that NO BLESSINGS from any divinity can come to us without the sanction of our own head.

As I spoke about this am (hey Monday Morning crew 👋🏽) we often overlook how much power we truly have to make or break ourselves.

We are psychologically predisposed to focus on the negative and see threats everywhere in order to keep ourselves safe.

Focusing on the positive and productive has to be an ACTIVE CHOICE that we make over and over again.

Check out the full message and a powerful testimony in my video “Ori and Going for What You Truly Want” on my YouTube channel YouTube.com/AseIre

I salute my ori! Ori, help me to do it! Ori bring me all blessings!

The odu Ifa Ogbe Ogunda tell us it is only ori that can accompany us on the long journey through life without returning home. No divinity can help us if we don’t first help ourselves!

🇬🇷 Athens, Greece (July 2025): What does philosophy have to do with gym class? Well, the gymnasium was originally a place designed to train the mind as well as the body.

Greece will always have a soft spot in my heart as it was Zeus, Athena, Poseidon, and Aphrodite that paved the way for me to come to know Olodumare, Obatala, Olokun, and Osun.

And Socrates? He never wrote a thing and was condemned to death for “corrupting the youth” by teaching them to think. My kinda guy.

When the late great Prof. Sophie Oluwole put him in conversation with Orunmila, it was further confirmation of my path. Like Akoda and Aseda with Orunmila, Plato was Socrates’ student, Aristotle was Plato’s. Good teachers and good students should always be valued 🙏🏽

When you hear Ṣango’s thunder roar—you know.
When you feel Ọya’s gale-force winds—you know.
When you encounter the bank of Ọṣun’s mighty river—you know.
When you find yourself on the shore of Olokun’s vast ocean—you know.
When you feel the heat of Ogun’s forge—you know.
When you reach the center point of Eṣu’s crossroads—you know.
When you see the glint off Oba’s sword—you know.
When you reach the top of Ọbatala’s mountain—you know.
When I encountered the force of nature that is you @timiljones —I knew.
My love, we have been around the world 🌍 and made more magic in 365 days than many make in a lifetime. In you, I have truly found a partner in life and love. I’m thankful beyond measure and I will forever celebrate this day, 10/11, the day we met. The day we KNEW. May our ancestors and all the divine beings that walk with us continue to support us! Ẹẹẹpa Oriṣa o! 🕊️Today is the Feast Day of Ọbatala in the Lukumi and Regla de Ocha lineages of Oriṣa practice where he has been syncretized with both Jesus of Nazareth and Our Lady of Mercy.

We honor our patron Oriṣa in all forms and in all places! We honor our ancestors who kept his worship alive through the Maafa and we who keep it alive now.

Ki Ọbatala ṣaanu gbogbo wa! May Ọbatala grant us all mercy!

May we be ever wrapped in the aṣo funfun (white cloth) of peace and prosperity! Aṣẹẹẹẹ!

This week the odu Ifa osa ogunda ministered to us on the dangers of sending another person to do an important task.

It could be that person who ends up with the blessings YOU were supposed to have!

Find out how Ṣango sent Ọya to handle his business and Eṣu taught him a valuable lesson on my YT channel!

You didn't come into this world needing to be fixed. 🍒

So much of spirituality is built on "you're flawed, let's repair you."

You arrived whole. Everything else is a cherry on top of a cake that was already good.

Don't throw the cake away chasing cherries.
