Our 2026 Ase Ire Family mantra reminds us that this life is meant for LIVING! Healing is not our reason for being. Nor is achievement for its own sake.

We are to have ire gbogbo—all good things!—health, prosperity, and JOY. It is through the expressions of gratitude and pleasure that we encourage our blessings to come and stay.

Many of us have become so accustomed to hardship and struggle that we aren’t able to relax into feeling good.

This system under which we live profits from our strife. Refusal to forgo joy and pleasure is resistance! Indulge yourself and delight your senses for all those ancestors who didn’t get to do so.

Praying a year filled with peace, pleasure, and prosperity for all of us! Ase!

Ẹẹẹpa Oriṣa o! 🕊️Today is the Feast Day of Ọbatala in the Lukumi and Regla de Ocha lineages of Oriṣa practice where he has been syncretized with both Jesus of Nazareth and Our Lady of Mercy.

We honor our patron Oriṣa in all forms and in all places! We honor our ancestors who kept his worship alive through the Maafa and we who keep it alive now.

Ki Ọbatala ṣaanu gbogbo wa! May Ọbatala grant us all mercy!

May we be ever wrapped in the aṣo funfun (white cloth) of peace and prosperity! Aṣẹẹẹẹ!

It could be that person who ends up with the blessings YOU were supposed to have!

This week’s message from spirit is coming from Erykah Badu telling us to take a window seat 💺 and chill. Make space for relaxation because you can’t dream and envision your next moves while you’re rushing around.

Crystal ally Amber says it’s time to break out of old patterns and do something new! If you want different, you gotta do different. Let the relaxed energy of the week bring new ideas to your brilliant Ori.

Drop a 🤍💛 if you’re ready to relax into newer and greater things this week!

Tonight we’re going live for a conversation that spiritual communities need to have.

I’m joined by Chief Iya Funlayo Wood, PhD to talk about spiritual leadership, integrity, discernment, and trust. What should healthy leadership actually look like? And what do we do when title, lineage, and integrity don’t always match?

Join us live tonight for “Who Should You Trust? Spiritual Leadership & the Integrity Crisis.”

Bring your questions. This is going to be a real conversation.

Subscribe to the YT channel @dr.latoyadavis and set your notifications so you don’t miss it.

This week’s message from Spirit comes from #7 the Chariot, which in this deck is represented as Ọya. This is a week for decisive action and forward motion. Don’t allow the chariot to drag you, but choose the direction and GO. Like the machete, cut through the underbrush and find the clear path.

Crystal ally celestite reconnects us with our divinities and spirit guides so that we can hear them clearly as they speak. Remember, the message isn’t always going to come through dramatically. It may be in the whispers in the wind you may miss if you aren’t listening.

Drop 🤍💛 if you’re ready to listen to good guidance and get on GO this week!
