This week the odu Ifa osa ogunda ministered to us on the dangers of sending another person to do an important task.

It could be that person who ends up with the blessings YOU were supposed to have!

Find out how Ṣango sent Ọya to handle his business and Eṣu taught him a valuable lesson on my YT channel!

Tonight we’re going live for a conversation that spiritual communities need to have.

I’m joined by Chief Iya Funlayo Wood, PhD to talk about spiritual leadership, integrity, discernment, and trust. What should healthy leadership actually look like? And what do we do when title, lineage, and integrity don’t always match?

Join us live tonight for “Who Should You Trust? Spiritual Leadership & the Integrity Crisis.”

Bring your questions. This is going to be a real conversation.

Subscribe to the YT channel @dr.latoyadavis and set your notifications so you don’t miss it.

Peace. In what my son calls, 'Monking', I have been working on ways to get some youth back. I don't think I'm following anything other than all of those WuTang and Shaolin movies I used to watch and the Gods I used to listen to in the 90's. @wutangclan. I'm not a professional.
Whatever I'm doing, I'm getting a little better at it. Would like to have a custom one of these made Or recommendation on a weapon thats similar to it and the study that goes with the weapon. #V2G #GVI

I learned the song studying with the Great Doctor Chief @iyafunlayo and the @aseireinc Family. Module Pupo Iya!

Additionally, I left the auto translator that CapCut @capcutapp put on my audio. It's completely off. I added the Yoruba text in the video of what I am actually saying. I may have misspelled one thing, but I tried remembering from my brief studying. Very interesting. Please share your thoughts. Peace

Fam, popping in with these Reminders from Spirit in this full moon 🌕 moment. Let me know which ones hit in the comments, keep reading for a lil more:

1. Without the prayers and perseverance of our ancestors we wouldn’t be here. They come first. Always.

2. You don’t have to keep doing what you’re doing just because you been doing it for a long time. If you been zagging, try zigging a little and see what happens.

3. To make change, you have to first believe you can be different. You can. Have faith in that.

4. The first thing you can do to make change? Stop playing small, tryina fit in other folks’ boxes. Do you!

5. As everything that’s within you bubbles up to the surface, know it ain’t all flowers and sunshine. But it’s all necessary.

6. Them folks who are tryina tell you what to do and how to do it? They don’t know what YOUR assignment is. Ifa says we get our heads from the same place but our paths are different. Walk yours.

7. Speaking of heads, please use that Good Black Sense™️ you were born with. If your spirit isn’t saying “yes” it’s saying “no”—listen.

You’re the engine driving your life! Other people and divinities can be the seats, the seatbelts, and the windshield but YOU DRIVE 🚙

The odu Ifa idi irete tells us that other people’s wealth isn’t ours, no matter how much they like to share it with us. And their destiny is not ours, no matter how far we walk together.

We must each drive ourselves to our own destiny, our own success, and our own wealth. May we steer ourselves well! Ase!

There’s something powerful about being in rooms where women are not just talking about change — they are actively building it.

This weekend at the IWA Real Women Inspire Summit in Atlanta, I was surrounded by women who are leading in their communities, honoring their spiritual work, and creating real impact.

Spaces like this matter.

Because transformation doesn’t just happen in isolation — it happens in community, in conversation, in proximity to other women who are doing the work in real time.

Grateful to have been nominated for the Community Choice Award, and even more grateful for the connections, conversations, and reminders of what’s possible when women gather with intention.

Thank you @theiwabrand for creating a space where both spirit and community are honored.

Stay tuned. This kind of work doesn’t happen by accident.
