I’m so ready for summer, and what better way to protect my hair from sun damage than with this beautiful @biolage hair scarf? 🥰

Prolonged sun exposure can lead to hair breakage, so I take preventative measures to maintain healthy hair.

Food is the real Medicine! I’ve been plant based for 7 years now and going vegan has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. I have experienced many great health benefits by cutting out meat and dairy (ex. Rarely ever get sick, clearer skin, increase in energy, increased compassion, more in tune with your soul, enhanced spiritual growth & many more)🙏🏾 I have witnessed many people cure their diseases and illnesses by incorporating a plant based diet after the drugs and/or chemo the physician recommended didn’t work and only made them even more sick. GOD designed our bodies to heal itself if we treat it properly and we do right by HIM. There are so many vegan food recipes that are easy to make, very delicious and I would love to share my passion for food, life & vitality!

2021 recap of some of the delicious, plant based meals my husband and I made & enjoyed! (The açai bowl was purchased but very delicious & easy to make). The more research you do, the more you realize how much we have to unlearn and relearn everything we were taught about food and nutrition, science and medicine. If we knew we could strengthen our immune system & improve our quality of life using alternative methods, the “healthcare” system would be out of business. The Rockerfeller healthcare system, based on petroleum-based pharmaceuticals, completely replaced mainly used holistic, naturopathic medicine practices that were extremely effective in healing, however, it did not generate enough money as the pharmaceutical business today is one of the largest and wealthiest businesses in the world, a trillion $ industry. God designed our bodies to heal itself naturally and I thank HIM for always taking such great care of me. I have been blessed to not have to rely on pharmaceutical drugs that usually only treat the symptom temporarily instead of healing the root/origin of the illness. In many cases, these drugs contain harmful ingredients that have consequential long term impacts to your well being and may also result in long term dependency without a real solution to help you heal completely. As we bring this year to a close, I want to say thank you to everyone for their love, appreciation and support throughout the years. These past few years have been quite challenging to say the least, however, we should all feel blessed that we are still here and proud of ourselves for overcoming so much during this pandemic ♥️

YouTube will always be one of my favourite platforms because that is where I started creating content and that is where I can share the most with you all. In 2022, I will share informational videos (much shorter) on Instagram so that I can share more of my passion and knowledge with you all here. @youtube sent me my 2021 End of the year stats and this is my most viewed video of 2021 (and pretty much every other year since I started YouTube in 2017)😀 - 10 signs you have low porosity hair. You never know which video is going to do good and this one was unexpected but I am so happy that it had helped so many people understand their hair type. I am so grateful to have been able to assist so many people in their natural hair journey and I hope to continue to encourage our Queens to wear their crowns, proudly and unapologetically ♥️

Turning my passion for natural hair into a career has been such a blessing and I want to encourage you all to follow your calling. Even if it doesn’t make sense to anyone. Only you and God know what is meant for you and He will equip you with whatever you need to succeed if you just trust in Him and have faith. Serving others is one of the greatest joys you can bring to the world.

Thank you all for allowing me to share my skincare journey with you over the past few months 🤍 This is my final update with my ultimate favourite skincare product, The Yerba Mate Resurfacing Energy Facial from @youthtothepeople 🙌🏾 In this post, I wanted to also share how using this exfoliant not only helps my skin but also helps my makeup apply much better. The better my skin looked, the less makeup I wanted to wear because it hid my natural glow and made my skin look worse. Taking a break from makeup (especially liquid foundation and concealer) improved my skin greatly! A little bit of blush and lipgloss can go along way to enhance natural beauty without hiding our unique face and glow! I focused on skincare that gently removed dead skin cells, oil, dirt and product buildup, resulting in radiant skin. In my previous posts, I share how I had little bumps all over my face in the past and when I applied foundation, it always enhanced it and made it worse. I realized that the chemicals in foundation and concealer is what caused the bumps and hyperpigmentation on my skin overtime and it clogged my pores! I didn’t want to feel dependant on makeup to feel beautiful anymore so I focused on repairing my skin to help me achieve a healthy, natural appearance. Overtime, I started to love the way I looked even more with less makeup and then to no makeup at all! It felt so great and freeing to finally love the way I looked naturally way better than a full face of makeup! The best foundation for makeup is healthy skin and what I learned in my skincare journey is to be open to learning new ways to improve yourself, inside and out 💕 A clean face and a pure heart and soul is the ultimate beauty tip!

Here are my current favourite skincare products that I’m currently using for my morning and night routine 🤍 I try to keep it simple, yet effective for achieving radiant looking skin! I am still looking for the perfect eye cream, so please let me know of some good recommendations! The key skincare product that I have added to my routine is one of my favourite exfoliater/face masks I’ve ever tried from Youth To The People, The Yerba Mate Resurfacing Energy Facial. It does an amazing job at breaking down dead skin cells which ultimately improves my skin texture resulting in smooth, radiant looking skin!
