Market day at Old Spitalfields Market!

I’m here today with Urban Makers at the wonderful Old Spitalfields Market, surrounded by independent designers, makers and plenty of beautifully made things.

I’ve brought a selection of my handmade Izabela Rocks jewellery, including my crocheted wire pieces, gemstones and some one-of-a-kind designs.

These delicate flower earrings are crocheted by hand using fine 14k gold-filled wire and finished with natural gemstones in beautiful tones.

A little delivery day…

Bucks Art Weeks at Discover Bucks Museum

As you know I’m taking part in Bucks Art Weeks 2026 with an exhibition at Discover Bucks Museum, running from 13th to 21st June.

The exhibition brings together a diverse group of artists and makers, showcasing work across a variety of disciplines including painting, ceramics, jewellery and more. It is a wonderful opportunity to explore the creativity and talent of Buckinghamshire’s artistic community in one inspiring venue.

I’ll be exhibiting a selection of my handcrafted jewellery, created using traditional crochet and textile techniques combined with precious metals, silk fibres and natural gemstones. Each piece is carefully made by hand and inspired by the colours, textures and patterns found in nature.

Whether you’re looking for a unique piece of jewellery, searching for inspiration, or simply planning a creative day out, I would love for you to visit.

These crocheted earrings are made stitch by stitch, with tiny beads worked into the thread so they catch the light as they move. A soft, flowing piece that feels more like fabric than jewellery.

Watching fine silver wire transform into delicate earrings, one stitch at a time.

Today at Aylesbury Library, I’ve been demonstrating the traditional craft techniques behind my jewellery. Every piece begins with simple tools, patient hands, and a process that has been passed down through generations.

There’s something special about slowing down and seeing how a handmade piece comes to life, stitch by stitch.

Did you know? These earrings are actually crocheted… but with fine silver wire. It’s a technique usually used for textiles, slowly translated here into jewellery.

Each pair is crocheted by hand in fine gold-filled wire, forming a delicate nest around a natural gemstone. No moulds, no casting, just slow repetition and intuitive movement of wire until the stone feels settled.

I’m back from Bath now, and I truly enjoyed the trip once again. I appreciate all the customers who visited us on this particularly warm day and chose to purchase my jewellery.
