🍎 Teacher gifting season is here! ✏️

As another school year comes to an end, it’s the perfect time to say thank you to the teachers, teaching assistants and school staff who have made a difference.

This year, skip the ordinary and choose a thoughtful handmade gift from one of our talented local makers. Whether your teacher loves gardening, maths, relaxing with a bath, beautiful home décor or practical everyday accessories, you’ll find something as unique as they are.

Our shops are filled with carefully handcrafted gifts, including:
🌸 Knitted bath bombs by @annsappliqueallsorts
🖊️ Fabric pen cases by AB Crafts @babypumplekin
🕯️ Fused glass tealight holders by @orangetreeglass
🌷 Beaded flower pots by @bespoke.by.natalie
✨ Handmade maths jewellery by @izabela.rocks

🌿 And so much more!

Every purchase supports an independent maker and helps keep creativity thriving in our local communities.

Pop into your nearest Craft Coop shop and find a gift that’s made with care, just like the people you’re thanking. 💚

🚀 Curious to understand how to Scale with Retailers and get more YESes 🙌

Founders came with brilliant products. great brands, ambitious plans and an open mind to learn directly from a former retail buyer 🤩

Because everything that drives a buyer’s decision…

…the things that make a buyer lean in… or switch off…

…the Art & Science of what make buyers say YES over a ‘maybe’

Founders never get to see any of that.

It lives behind closed doors.🚪

The Retail Ready Skills Bootcamp was built to bring that insight into the room. 💪

And the results speak for themselves…

“I could never have imagined having that opportunity” - after pitching to a panel of four retail buyers.

“Practical, actionable, real and relevant insights…not based on theory.”

And one founder has already secured a YES from Selfridges (more on that soon 👀)

This bit was gold…

It left founders pitch-ready, knowing exactly what to say, with a retail buyer pitch-deck and practised pitch ready to go 🙌

Knowing exactly how to turn a ‘maybe’ into a YES.

I knowing first-hand, that instinct of knowing what makes a buyer lean in or switch off takes years to build.

And that kind of clarity doesn’t come from theory.

So it was non-negotiable for Ami Rabheru to ensure that this bootcampwasn’t riddled in theory, and that it was right from the buyers shoes.

We can’t wait to share more wins from our 12 weeks together… very soon.

In the meantime…

What’s the one thing you wish someone had told you before your first buyer meeting? ⬇️

(1-3) Wendy Edmonds Textiles

I initially studied millinery at London College of Fashion, then worked for several couture milliners including Frederick Fox. I then started designing and making clothes (self taught) and some important commissions included iconic stage clothing for Freddie Mercury. My scarves and wraps are inspired by colour, texture and light in the natural world.

(4-6) Izabela Rocks

I create elegant, one-of-a-kind jewellery that combines heritage techniques with silk, precious and semi-precious stones, and fine metals. Each piece is carefully crafted by hand, carrying a sense of individuality, craftsmanship, and quiet strength; jewellery made to be treasured, not simply worn. My jewellery reflects a deep connection to nature, tradition, and the freedom found in making, small, tactile expressions of continuity between past and present.

(7-9) Pam Butcher Knitwear

I originally studied Illustration at Goldsmiths School of Art and later used my drawing skills to create hand knitted sweaters incorporating Mughal inspired animals and flowers. I have since produced complex cable
