I’m incredibly blessed, privileged and honored to live a life where I get to put these letters behind my name: Isabelle Joy Kilgallon, BSN, RN
So grateful to announce I’ll be transitioning into practice as a pediatric nurse at Seattle Children’s Hospital

Feeling everything all at once… and somehow, no words feel big enough to hold it all.

After 22 weeks of prep, I stepped on stage for the very first time as a bikini bodybuilding competitor, and to say I’m proud is an understatement.

Through this prep, I was deep in my first, second, and now third semester of accelerated nursing school, working 12-hour night shifts, and still finding time for cardio, lifting, posing, and most importantly, my family and friends. There were days I barely slept. Days I cried in the gym. Days I questioned if I could keep going. But I never stopped.

Why? Because I crave the discomfort. I crave pushing myself past the limits of what I thought I was capable of. This sport is brutal; mentally, physically, emotionally, but that’s what makes it beautiful. It demands more of you. And in return, it gives you something you can’t find anywhere else: power. drive. discipline. self-respect.

There is something so transformative about choosing the hard road, not because you have to, but because you want to see what’s on the other side. And let me tell you… it’s worth every early morning, every sore muscle, every sacrifice.

Discipline is the greatest form of self-respect.
And this journey gave me the deepest respect I’ve ever had for myself.

I didn’t do this alone, and I never could have.
To my dad @shawn.kilgallon thank you for being my biggest helper with meal prep, always stepping up when I needed it most.
To my friends and family, thank you for cheering me on, believing in me, and picking me back up when I was running on fumes.

And to my coaches @huyenperson_ifbbpro and @johnwperson you’ve taught me so much more than just how to prep for a show. You’ve helped me step into a version of myself I didn’t know existed. You’ve believed in me when I didn’t believe in myself. And for that, I’ll never stop being grateful. I can’t wait to see how far we go together.

This is just the beginning.
T-7 weeks until my second show, and I’m coming back stronger, sharper, and even more fired up.
Let’s go get it.

Here’s how I placed at a non-tested show as a natural athlete:
