Coming into this mission trip, I had no clue what would happen. Lord, thank You for showing me Your love, mercy, and for giving me the honor to spread Your Gospel in San Juan del Río. You have redeemed, restored, and renewed.

You are a loving Father, not an angry or disappointed one, but a Father who just loves His children. JLY 🩷

“If you hang on to your life you will lose it but if you give your life for my sake you will save it”

The saying “let go and let God” can sound corny, but it’s true. It took me a long time to truly understand that phrase. For so long, I rejected God and tried to take the reins of my own life. I spent years trying to fill a God sized hole with temporary things, but it never worked.
I believed that I had to figure it out on my own. But the harder I tried, the further I drifted from God.
When I finally gave my life to Him, I realized that the burdens I had been carrying were never meant for me to hold it had His name on them, not mine.

Even when I loved the world, He still loved me.

Even when I was ashamed of God, He was never ashamed of me.

I let go of the life I once thought I wanted. I let go of the control I thought I needed.

Thank you, God, for Your everlasting mercy.

new year, same GOD.
I thank God for this amazing year. It was filled with many memories, both good and bad, but I’ll always remember it as a year of salvation. Thank You, God, for your everlasting mercy.
