I had the honor of painting this custom piece for an influencer that I admire so much … I have been following her and her journey for awhile and she has not only inspired me but has helped me tremendously with transitioning from a dead end 9-5 to turning my passion side hustle into my full time biz. I have learned so much through her platform with the money side of my business finances/investing/budgeting/growing/saving/accounting (this is where my brain shuts down) and if this is your struggle and you have a money block , then you must follow her @alexonabudget if you do not already … so needless to say I was beyond thrilled to paint this custom piece for their new Space.
This piece was so large and an unconventional dimension size on such a heavy thick stretcher frame gallery wrapped canvas that it was going to cost anywhere from $600 to over $1000 to ship it because it would have needed to be freighted . So we decided to remove it from the stretcher frame and ship it as a loose rolled canvas which brought shipping significanty down to a little over $100 🙌🏼 🙏🏻 and they decided they are going to have it professionally framed locally so be sure to go follow that journey ! I lOVED loved painting this piece so much ❤️ if you know me then you know anything nature related is what inspires me most 🌱🌿🌼

The more I just paint for me from the soul from my imagination/inspiration, the more it all rushes through me , floods every cell in my body-and pours out of me like ‘ The Vein of Gold ’ (one of my favorite books , oldie but a goodie and if you’re an artist , writer or musician I highly recommend)

‘Waking the Tiger’
28”x36” mixed media

A quick minimalist botanical study this morning while sipping on my coffee really helped me get out of a rut . I just needed to paint and meditate . I honestly can not go more than two days without making something with my hands or else I feel like my soul is dying . Even if it’s simple and nothing that is leaving my studio or sketch book.

It’s not until tomorrow but this tired old lady goes to bed at 7:30 pm so I wanted to make sure this Birthday post was up for midnight for my Amazing son for when he gets out of second shift . Holy Timewarp 29!!! How in the world did this happen ? You were the first best thing that ever happened to me … I just posted such a long boast post about you on IG for National sons day so I will not be redundant but I could go on forever about how proud I am . by @j.barna.studio

Happy National Sons day to the most amazing and most important man in my life ! I am continuously left in awe at the Man you have grown to be and I cannot wrap my head around the fact that you will be 29 in less than two weeks!! What !!??? You were the first to make me a mom and teach me the truest definition of what unconditional love meant . I felt it deep in my soul that being a mom was my life purpose here on this earth in this lifetime . I knew my first born was going to be a boy and I had your name picked out since I was 7 years old . I am so lucky and honored to be your mom … I cherish our connection and I am so grateful for our shared language in Music Science nature space and technology … you are the most brilliant , kindhearted , gentle , loving , selfless and GIVING man I know .
I love watching you build your life thriving and excelling in everything you do. I am and always will be your biggest fan . by @j.barna.studio

Happy National daughter day to my ray of Sunshine 🌞 I could never put into words to convey how proud I am of the woman you are and continue to become . You ended up exactly the pure MAGIC I saw in you when you were born and the spark and bright light you were at 4 years old … and you became all that I knew you would be …and so much more , a soul full of universal love and cosmic wonder and wise beyond this human experience … you are the epitome of cosmic ‘light and love’ …the most loving empathetic kind thoughtful selfless soul towards every living things on the planet and beyond .
. I am so grateful for our soul bond … and I am so deeply honored to be your mom in this lifetime .. and I forever Cherish our mother daughter relationship AND our beautiful adult friendship . You are my best friend not just my amazing daughter.
Just pure light that shines so bright .
