Thank you @ethosfilmawards for awarding me the incredible honor of Best Director for Binge! It’s been almost two years now since we shot this and I’m so unbelievably honored that it’s still out in the world getting love. @bingethefilm

Thank you to the incredible Producer @leonpiercejr for bringing everyone together to make this happen, to @nataliamoscoso for painting with light, to @georgina_janette for being down to tackle such a tender subject matter and giving it incredible nuance, and to my editor and friend @thejonjlee for challenging me with all the right questions when we re-wrote this story together during our edit ❤️

Very special shoutout to @treyhatesinstagram my on set and post sound mixer!! You gave me so much more than I deserved for this. Thank you ✨

So excited to share that BINGE has gotten into three festivals so far!! ☺️ This little film started from simply deciding to share some very personal struggles that seemed to dominate my life for years. Some of which I still deal with even today. But making this project has assured me that not only do many others struggle with disordered eating and body dysmorphia--I've come to realize how many of us wish we had talked about it sooner!

I am so grateful for where this film has taken me and so excited to see where it goes next.

Everyone involved in this filmed breathed a bit of their own magic to bring it to life and I'm floored and honored that we got to work together. Thank you thank you 💜

An exploration of visuals/feelings/tone for something I'm writing with a willing and talented friend. Thank you @auricle.mov for playing 🌒

(Using art to explore more art? So pretentious! So fun! Without art life is wasted!)

Double and triple exposures done in-camera on Ilford400.
