3 works from my exhibition ‘Reflections’ at @studiokura this month. Inspired by the confusion of too much information depicted in Japanese road signs. These works are all clear Perspex that I cut with the CO2 laser cutter in residence.

To celebrate the recent inclusion of my sculpture Public Elegance (mid-century bus chair) in the @woollahragallery small sculpture prize, I’ve screen printed a CMYK (minus the K, aka black) limited print of 5 of this work on cotton rag paper. They’re up on my store front on my website. Doing a fairly low price on these for $220 with free shipping Aus wide or can drop off personally to you if in Sydney. Money from these will go towards paying for my residency in Japan in 2026. Any issues purchasing on the site, just DM me here instead.

Fun fact re CMYK screen printing: for me I prefer to just print Cyan, Magenta & Yellow, as those three colours create their own illusion of black. The final layer of black to me tends to mute the image, and I like the pop of colour to come through the image. by @j.coppo

Stoked to announce I’m a finalist in the 2025 Woollahra Small Sculpture Prize with my work ‘Public Elegance (mid-century bus chair).’ My first time in a sculpture prize, this work is one of my more playful creations that hones in on the temporality of the body, combining both a well known upholstery with a staple household chair. I’m looking forward to seeing works by a bunch of talented finalists!
The exhibition will be held at @woollahragallery , presented by @woollahracouncil , from 26 September through 16 November 2025. Hope to see some of your lovely faces there.
