@motes_militia SURF CAMP WEEK 8!! Monday through Thursday had some surf but the Devil south wind chopping it up but the groms handled it well and today were rewarded with super clean thigh high plus perfectly clean conditions. Awesome stuff to witness!! Thank you to the parents that trust us with their babies and thank you once again to my incredible staff!! One more week and summer 2026 will be completed. MMSS Week 7 is in the books, and it was another AWESOME week!
Started off with uber-small surf at the beginning of the week, but we had a little bump-up for Wednesday/Thursday.
And while it was a ‘high-tide early week’, these Groms persevered and managed some awesome rides.
Another shoutout to the parents, for trusting us with to teach their “little ones” about surfing, the ocean, and how it can be utilized to show that if you can surf, you can do nearly anything you put your mind to.

Week 7 of @motes_militia Surf Camp was incredible especially with a surprise little swell hitting Wednesday and Thursday. Week 6 of Motes Militia Surf School is complete, and what a week it was.
Super-small to near flat for the first few days; then wound up being fun, and breaking on the outside sandbar for Thursday and Friday…
Kids had a blast, almost as much as we (the instructors/jr instructors) did.

Week 5 is in the books and man, what a week these Groms had! Started off with barely anything to ride on Monday and Tuesday; then on Wednesday everything changed when a storm system tried to form northeast of us and sent us a mini-nor’easter dealing us, and the kids some tuff conditions… However, today the conditions settled down and WE ALL HAD A BLAST💥!!!
