DAVIDSON LACROSSE ‘32 ❤️🖤

I am so excited to announce my verbal commitment to continue my academic career and play Division I lacrosse at Davidson College!

First, I am so thankful for my family, friends, and coaches for their support throughout this process. I couldn’t have done this without you!!

To my family, thank you so much for being my biggest supporters. Thank you soso much for driving me to every tournament, showcase, and practice. Thanks to my dad learning how to shoot, taking time out of his day to work with me, and make me into the player and person I am now. Thank you to my mom for pushing me academically and keeping me positive from the very beginning. Thanks to my brother for being one of my biggest supporters and keeping it competitive!

To my coaches and SJS family, thank you so much! Coach Bob, I wouldn’t have been playing this sport without you helping me build the love for the position. Coach Bridget, thank you so much for shaping me to be the player I am now. Coach Jackson, thank you for teaching me about leadership and facing adversity. To Coach Katy and Erika, I couldn’t thank you enough for helping me through this process and finding my home.

And a huge thank you to Coach Kim, Coach Maggie, Coach Claire, and Coach Corryne! I am so thankful for this amazing opportunity and everything you’ve done!

Holding back some tears while writing this ..

5 years of J.E.T. 🖤

My journey as a trainer started back in 2009. Over the years, I had the opportunity to work for several different companies, learn, grow, and train so many incredible people.

Then in 2021, I took a leap of faith and opened something of my own — J.E.T Training, created in remembrance of my brother, Jose Enrique Torres.

I never could have imagined where that decision would take me. What started as a dream became a place where I’ve had the privilege of helping people become stronger, more confident, and better versions of themselves.

I’m incredibly grateful for every client, athlete, friend, and family member who has supported this journey and trusted me along the way. The J.E.T clients became a community, a family, and a place that means more to me than I could ever put into words.

JET is more than a gym to me. It’s a piece of my story, a way to honor my brother, and a chapter I never knew I needed.

5 years later, I’m just grateful I took that leap. 🖤

SAINT JOES LACROSSE ‘32

I am so grateful and honored to announce my verbal commitment to play division 1 lacrosse at Saint Joseph’s University!

First, I’d like to thank God for being in a light and keeping me grounded throughout this process.

I’d also love to thank my family for always being there for me. I’m especially excited to share my college experience with my brother for two years! To my mom and dad, thank you for the endless hours of support (and driving) that you have given me. I love you more than words can describe.

Next, I want to thank all my coaches who have helped me along the way. To my AIM family, and especially Coach Katie, thank you for always being honest and supportive with me. To my Cherokee coaches, thank you Coach Niederberger for always believing in me since I was a freshman. You are a huge reason I am the player I am today! And to Coach Havers, you are the best coach I could ever ask for, and I could never repay you for the positive impact you have had on me. I am so grateful to have a goalie coach like you.

Finally, I would love to thank Coach Kahoe, Coach Grote, and Coach Detwiler for believing in me and giving me this opportunity!

I am beyond excited to announce my verbal commitment to continue my athletic and academic career at Drew University!

First, a huge thank you to my parents for every long car ride, late night, hard decision, and for always believing in me and pushing me to be the best version of myself. I truly wouldn’t be here without you both.

Thank you to every coach who has seen potential in me and given me the opportunity to learn and grow. A special thank you to Coach McCarron for pushing me on both the good and bad days and always believing in me. Coach Devon, thank you for sharing your knowledge and helping me continue to grow my game. I can’t wait to keep working with you!

Lastly, thank you to Coach Olenowski and Coach Elwood for giving me this opportunity and making me feel right at home. When you know, you know.
