Happiest 8th birthday to my perfect little angel Faye! She is the most magical whimsical girl and we are all so grateful for her in our family. She makes our world brighter every day with her humor, her art, her kindness and loving heart! by @j.lew__

@empire.shp state of mind 🌃

I started working at Vivint 14 years ago and part of what made me fall in love with this company was how it treated its sales force like rockstars. As a rookie rep, I remember watching the regional managers take trips to NYC and thinking how badly I wanted to be there someday.

That was always the magic of this place. It surrounded you with people doing big things and made you believe you could too. That belief pushed me to dream bigger, become more and surround myself with people who wanted the same. A lot of people have come and gone since then. A lot has changed since I started working here. And plenty have wondered if that magic is still here…

14 years later, I got to go to NYC as a regional manager, surrounded by some of the best people I know, celebrating a record-breaking year for the company, the division and my region. Full circle moment made me realize: The magic never left. And neither did we. #StillHere #BuildYourEmpire taken in 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge by @j.lew__

✨IT’S A MOVIE 🎥

Today is day 1 of the 2026 sales season. 13 years ago this month, I had my first day of summer sales with no idea what it would become. Now I look at my life and think “this is literally a movie.”

So here’s the message to all the dawgs deploying for another summer, or for their first: Act like there’s a documentary crew following you all summer long…filming everything you say and do. How would you act? What would you do differently?

My guess is you’d work a little harder. Study a little longer. Carry yourself with more integrity. And lean into the hard things instead of avoiding them.

That version of you is the one your future is built on. That version of you is the star of your future success story.

The life you always dreamed of starts filming today. So act accordingly and enjoy the show 🎬 #BuildYourEmpire #ItsAMovie by @j.lew__

Work for a company that not only pays you but REINVESTS in you👇

In my 13+ years working at Vivint, they’ve spent millions of dollars flying in some of the greatest minds in the world to pour into us as a sales force. Their goal wasn’t just to help us sell more accounts. It was to help us think bigger, lead better and become the best versions of ourselves.

I’ve always believed and preached that you have to learn before you earn. And while I’m incredibly grateful for every commission this career has provided, the lessons I’ve gained from sharing rooms with some of the most inspiring minds of our time have been worth even more.

Over the years, these are the people who helped shape who I am today. Thanks to Vivint, these lessons were given to me without having to spend a cent of my own money…so I’m passing them on to you:

@tonyrobbins taught me that I don’t experience life, I experience the life I focus on (2026)

@benkjar taught me to disobey average and defy mediocrity (2026)

@jesseitzler taught me that my dreams are free but the hustle to achieve them is sold separately (2025)

@patrickbetdavid taught me to choose my enemies wisely (2025)

@deionsanders taught me to be a monument, not a moment (2025)

@davidgoggins taught me to seek out discomfort, push my limits and STAY HARD (2024)

@timgrover taught me that if you think the cost of winning is high, just wait until you get the bill for regret (2023)

@edmylett taught me that, as a leader, I must be motivational, inspirational, and above all, ASPIRATIONAL (2022)

@derekjeter taught me to be consistent by making a daily commitment to greatness (2020)

@colincowherd taught me the power of having a “chip on your shoulder” (2019)

@ironcowboyjames taught me that a high tolerance for monotony is an underrated superpower (2018)

@johncmaxwell taught me that my attitude is the primary force shaping my success (2016)

@grantcardone taught me to talk to strangers (2015)

Shoutout @thesmarthomepros @triumph.div @empire.shp - 🥂 to more learning and even more earning #StillHere by @j.lew__
