2nd place at Escape from Alcatraz. 🥈

Proud to say it’s my 3rd time crossing/ Escaping Alcatraz. It’s one of the most amazing experiences and I feel so lucky I got to be a part of it again.

The last few months have been about finding balance, creating focus, and doing some mental/internal work.
There are always gonna be things I need to work on or improve upon. My pace, my form, etc…But this time, the focus wasn’t only on shaving seconds off the clock. It was about leaving some heavy shit behind. The kind that quietly weighs you down, steals your energy, and starts taking the fun out of something you love.

I arrived on that start line with a clear mind, a grateful heart, and complete trust in the process.

Without all that extra stress taking up space in my head, the miles seemed to pass almost effortlessly. Time moved faster. The course felt lighter. Instead of counting down the distance, I found myself fully present and enjoying the experience.

I’m sure I’ll be back again someday, but I feel like I really got what I came here for and that’s a cool feeling.

Not every race is going to reflect your fitness—and that’s part of the process.

Oceanside wasn’t my best performance, but it was a great reminder of what actually matters on race day:Show up. Stay present. Execute what you can. Adjust when you need to.

Some days the numbers don’t line up. The body doesn’t respond the way you expect. But that doesn’t mean the day is a loss—it means it’s data.

I was surrounded by strong athletes and good friends, all of us working through our own versions of the same challenge. That’s the beauty of it—you’re never alone out there. I happen to be blessed with a group of friends who make training, racing (and life) so much better. (Thank you @totowii @sara.collins.e @kristencretella Stephen, and Chrissy for always motivating me.)

Take the lessons. Keep the joy. Try again. Consistency over perfection. I’m not done yet. by @j_flo_77

Wildflower Experience 2025-Long Course 70.3 Triathlon. 3rd Place AG! After Worlds, I took a nice off season and enjoyed a long build to get ready for such a tough race. No doubt the toughest course I’ve ever raced…SO. MANY. HILLS. Whoever designed this course has a sick sense of humor for sure. Haha. Lots of great moments, and also the usual shit storm of things that happen to me on race day. I have a lot of posts to catch up on! Ironman 70.3 World Championships in Taupo, New Zealand, December 2024. NZ is magical. I need to find a reason to go back! It was so beautiful! The lake was crystal clear, the roads were bumpy and it was windy and HOT, but the view was stunning! Life has been different since then-maybe I just left my heart there. Amazing weekend at @thevivafest in Las Vegas! @aerialrevolution team had an incredible season and we had a strong finish at Viva Fest! Lots of top places and excellent progress! I’m so proud of our team!

Weird to be saying goodbye to this place tomorrow! 14 years of amazing memories at 5370 Napa st. I’m lucky to say I met and worked with some of the most talented, kind, and spirited people over the years. People who inspired me to keep creating, improving, and growing this business and community. I’m so glad we made it this far. The circus is not one man’s greatest show-but a team of people from all walks of life, joined together by our differences, our desire for belonging, and by our passion for greatness. Sharing a stage and a workshop with you all has been a blessing. Thank you for 14 incredible years here. Looking forward to many more. Throwback: Escape from Alcatraz June 9, 2024. Happy to take home a trophy for this one! 3rd place AG! I still think that this is the most iconic race and the most fun and memorable racing experience. This being my second time crossing Alcatraz, I was very excited to kind of know what to expect and to do the best I could. The jump off the SF Belle into the choppy, freezing, shark infested waters of the San Francisco Bay was amazing and just as exhilarating as the first time. The current was the fastest they had in several years so they had to cut the swim short and alter the course, but, that swim is no joke either way. Bike and run were super fun! They are probably not the biggest reason to race here but the scenery is epic, the weather was great that day, and both run and bike were a windy and hilly challenge. It was awesome. Ironman Morro Bay 70.3. The smile on my face at the finish tells you everything you really need to know. I could write a lot about it, and trust me there are some outrageous things that happened during that race! I am proud of this day! The 2023 San Diego Triathlon Series is complete! I had a fantastic season racing with @kozevents! Raced and finished first in 4 out of 5 events this year. (I was racing in Santa Cruz for the other event.) I am pretty sure I won the points competition again this year as well!!
