✨ THE COMPANY YOU KEEP MATTERS. ✨

1 Corinthians 15:33 (NKJV) reminds us, “Do not be deceived: ‘Evil company corrupts good habits.’”

And it had me thinking…

If Scripture reminds us to be mindful of the influence of the company we keep, then there is something beautiful about intentionally putting yourself IN GOOD COMPANY. ❤️

That is exactly what I experienced at In Good Company — Networking Joyfully.

A table filled with successful, Christ-centered women who genuinely wanted to see one another WIN. Women from different backgrounds and businesses—some meeting for the very first time—yet intentionally asking, “How can I support you? How can we build together?”

The family-style dinner made it even more special. We passed food, served one another, laughed, let our hair down, and had genuine conversations in a space that felt safe and welcoming. 🍽️❤️

And the FOOD?! 👏🏾 Our chef came out and explained the dishes, how they were prepared, and how they paired with the drinks on the menu. That attention to detail made dinner an entire experience—and everything was delicious! 🤌🏾

Before the evening was even over, some women had already connected so naturally that calendars were coming out and dates were being set to continue building those relationships.

THAT is In Good Company.

More than exchanging business cards.

It’s fellowship. Community. Genuine connection. Collaboration. Friendship. And women intentionally building other women up.

Thank you, Fadaka, for creating such an intentional experience, and thank you to Jacqueline for helping make the evening so special. ❤️

This was round ✌🏾 for me, and I’m already looking forward to the 3rd In Good Company — Networking Joyfully!

Because the company we keep has influence…

There’s something powerful about being in a room where women genuinely want to see one another win.

Last night, @fadakageorge hosted “In Good Company”, an evening centered around intentional connection, faith, business, community, and sisterhood.

From meaningful & intentional conversations to new connections, encouragement, collaboration, and women showing up for one another, the night was a beautiful reminder that we were never meant to build alone.

When women gather with purpose, something shifts.

A day in my life, but make it "producing a dinner for 50 women." *locks in*

9am in a spreadsheet and some water. Gotta stay hydrated! 11am is a huddle with our Curators walking the conversation tracks. 3pm is the part nobody notices unless it's missing: place cards, candles, the details. And 6pm is my favorite minute of the entire day-it makes all the hard work worth it-fifty strangers walk-in and by the time The Ace starts, they're not strangers anymore.

This is what goes into every In Good Company evening before a single guest arrives.

That’s what Britt taught us at June’s Nourish Lunch & Learn — that God gave you a rhythm, and your business gets stronger when you stop fighting it and start building on it. Food, movement, and herbal tea for every phase. (Which is exactly why we turned that room into a tea party.)

Nourish is a free, bi-monthly lunch and learn with free childcare, for Tampa business women who want to build something real with God at the center. No pitching. No performing. Just Jesus at the center and business on the table.
