In January 2025 I was a homeless studio intern trading media services for shelter at a studio I worked for…

In March I was inspired by my manager @iamjayninee & her nonprofit @thevisiondetroit to start a nonprofit record label @pmgdetroit to support local artists I believed in and give back to the creative community 🚀

This past September everything came full circle when we secured our own studio @pmgstudi0s and last week I sat down with @boldjourneymag to tell our story 🙏🏾

She literally almost brought me to tears man… @snclive

To hear someone speak like this about something that used to live exclusively inside my mind validated my vision in ways I didn’t know was possible

I started @snclive because Detroit needed more creative outlets for artists like myself who pour their hearts out in the studio

But also because there’s a mental health crisis in my city that needs to be addressed. People are hurting, grieving, and suffering in silence because mental health isn’t taken as seriously as it should be in Detroit.

Obviously metrodetroitnews doesn’t define our city but some of the headlines lately show me that people are really hurting and when that hurt goes unchecked, they hurt other people…

After being admitted to 3 different psyche wards in 2024 during my own battles with depression I found the biggest help for me was the group therapy they offered and hearing others talk about fighting similar battles I was…

So this was my way of finding purpose in my pain and I’m forever grateful for @detroitmodel.dreamy & @mz_euphemia at @thehouseofdreams313 for giving this Dream a home ⭐️

Pay attention to the way people treat you when you have NOTHING to offer them (or at least they think you don’t) cuz that’s how they truly feel about you 💯
