The Ambitious Generation:

Twice a week I talk to experts and entrepreneurs to help people stressed out by the pace of it get clearer on what they want, and build a better life while they chase it.

So, goodbye to The Grateful Podcast.
I’m so grateful for everything it brought me.
My life will never be the same because of that name. And I thank everyone deeply who was part of that chapter.

This decision has been brewing in my mind seriously for 5 months. I decided it was time.

I am psyched to make a difference with you.

All love,

Today I published episode 150 of my podcast.
I turn 20 in four months.

Two years ago I was 16, alone in France, whispering into an iPhone mic in my host family’s kitchen so I wouldn’t wake anyone up.

Somewhere between then and now: 200 cold DMs to land my first guest, a concussion that made me doubt everything, a TEDx talk, an internship helping serve some of the biggest companies in the world, and 23 interviews in one weekend that changed everything.

Damn. This was fun to make.
I started this podcast because I live perpetually in the forward void between where I am now and where I want to be. Ironically, there are days when I live more in that now than before I started.

It’s absolute magic to see just how far I have come.
This journey is both brutal and rewarding. It’s brought more stress and joy into my life simultaneously than I ever knew was possible.

My favorite thing though is the joy I’ve seen it bring others. I can’t wait to keep growing this community and making a bigger difference on this planet.

It is a blessing to live with conviction that you’re living your purpose. I am grateful every day to know that I am doing what I am meant to.

Thank you. by @jack_wagoner_

I asked @evancarmichael the question I’ve avoided.
He answered it. He challenged me.
Here’s what actually happened.

Evan started his entrepreneurship journey at 19, sold his first company at 22, and since then has built a YouTube channel with 4.6 million subscribers.

When Evan and I met in July for our first interview, he told me to ask the questions that I want the answers to.

So I did. Despite how uncomfortable that was for me.

I said “I challenge you to challenge me on this,” and we talked about me.
Evan started asking me about a decision I was stuck on over the summer:
Staying in school or going all in on this.

Then he told me something nobody ever asks him: “I never get asked what university I went to. People care, zero.”

I think something that is important to say is that I don’t have my life fully figured out. But asking these questions, I know a lot more about what I’m actually weighing now than I did before we sat down.

This is The Ambitious Generation episode 159

These next few months are about to be insane.

I go back home tomorrow.
It’s been a year in London.

For most of the year, honestly, I felt stuck.

When I started this podcast the growth I got was insane. I very quickly realized that when you go all in on something you can really just make things happen.

The people I met, the numbers, everything just was going up.

At some point though, I think I subconsciously let off the gas a little. Not in an effort sense, but in a vision sense.

For a lot of this year, I was stuck with the same downloads, views, etc just hoping that something would change.

I had this massive vision but I was waiting for someone else to come and give me permission to go all in.

The past few months I’ve realized that I need to be that change.

I need to go all in.

For the longest time I didn’t understand that if I want people to bet on me, I have to be willing to bet on myself.

Trusting.

Trusting that the picture in my mind is destined to unfold in front of my eyes.

Heading back to the U.S. I have a huge amount of opportunities and movement coming to the show, to my speaking, and to my career as a whole.

I’m so grateful to all of you that have supported me so far on this journey, and I am grateful for those of you to come. by @jack_wagoner_

The Grateful Podcast is on 🔥🔥
Those who ghosted the ‘delusional kid’
Are now asking to come on.

The next few months we are going all over the country to studios and (sometimes) apartments/houses of some of the top academics, researchers, and performance coaches in THE WORLD.

I don’t say this to brag or boast in any way.

I say it for two reasons, one personal (and applicable to YOU) and one service oriented.

The personal version is that a persistant and consistent pursuit of your goals and your vision WILL come true if you stay with it.

I almost quit in the winter.
It felt like I was getting nowhere.
Going backwards.

I had a rough patch after a concussion, but in January I made the decision that I wouldn’t quit.

I wanted and expected results just a little too soon. When I just decided to keep going, realizing it might take years…
It came.

Secondly, I am continuing to have the guests on who I believe, with my probing and question asking, can really, really change lives.

That is so exciting to me.

Continuing to provide those conversations that just WOW people.

Thank you to those that have stuck with me through this incredible journey so far.

And thank you to the people just joining.

I’m psyched to continue growing and bringing this world more hope and gratitude. by @jack_wagoner_

23 interviews in one weekend for the @bookthinkers live event in Boston. We crushed it and learned so much.

These were 17 hour days, starting at 4:30AM in NH and ending exporting hundreds of gigs of files onto my Mac.

I have never felt so exhausted from purely talking to people (which is my favorite) but after some words of wisdom from @markuskaulius and a nice meditation, we reset and continued to crush.

I’m so grateful to everyone at the event, especially @nicklovesbooks for creating a place for such positive energy to gather.

Wouldn’t have been able to do this without @wilder.carrigan and @wildermediacollective by @jack_wagoner_
