Besides being born, this was the best day of my life! Thank you so much to this beautiful world for allowing us to love and give. This was my first ever event, and it went a lot better than I thought. There will be many more in the future as this is my way of serving. Thank you for helping me learn.

Dropped this brilliant human off at Northeastern University yesterday to begin his sophomore year.

And while letting go never seems to get easier, what a gift it is to keep witnessing who Jack is becoming.

This past week he invited me to his second Grateful Together gathering - 90 minutes devoted simply to connection, reflection, and a question he’s been carrying for years:

What is already good in your life that you’re too busy chasing the next thing to notice?

He gathered a zoom room full of people, asked thoughtful and vulnerable questions, invited us into deeper conversations, and created space to pause, listen, reflect on where we’ve been and where we’re going - with gratitude and kindness woven through it all.

I was brought to tears.

And then he shared that part of the seed for these gatherings came from something I started when he and Sadie were little - going around the dinner table before we ate and naming one thing we were grateful for.

To watch a tiny family ritual become something he is now carrying outward and using to create meaningful connection in the world is almost impossible to put into words.

Jack is a connector. A kindhearted leader. A human with contagious energy, curiosity, passion, and a beautiful ability to make people feel seen.

I am so deeply proud of him. And inspired by him.

This season of motherhood is stretching my heart in every direction… so much excitement and pride as I watch both of my kids step more fully into their own lives, and some grief woven through it too.

The mothering is changing. The holding looks different now. And perhaps one of the greatest gifts is getting to stand back a little and witness them fly toward the lives that light them up.

Jack, you are changing this world with your presence.

I love being your mom.

And you and your sister will forever be two of my greatest teachers. ❤️

I had such a great time hanging out behind the scenes with @jack_wagoner_ at Book Thinkers LIVE! Jack has a cool story. He started interviewing people at 17—but what stood out to me was what happened before the success. He tried more than 200 times before landing his first big interview. I have much respect for his dedication and determination for building relationships and an amazing podcast show, 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗣𝗼𝗱𝗰𝗮𝘀𝘁.

Whether you are starting young like Jack or facing a different challenges, keep trying keep tweaking your approach, learn from what did not work ... and then try again.
Like Jack's amazing story, this will take you so much further than labeling why something did not work and giving up. You’ve got this. I believe in you. 💛

What a journey it has been. It’s not over, but I thought It would be nice to celebrate this milestone by looking back on the first half of 2026.

What an unforgettable few days surrounded by people who genuinely believe in personal growth and that books can change lives!

The energy, the conversations, the hugs, the laughter, the ideas, the encouragement, the faith, the friendships... every moment reminded me how powerful it is when passionate people come together with a shared mission.

I had the honor of speaking on the social media panel, learning from some of the brightest minds in publishing, business, and personal growth, and leaving inspired by every speaker who stepped on stage. - seriously... and I’m not just saying that!

Thank you to everyone who shared your wisdom so generously. I walked away with pages of notes, fresh ideas, and an even bigger vision.
