Massive love to all the @nightmaresonwax, the band and the crew. It’s not everyday you get to play with such incredible musicians, I was lucky to be amongst them for this legendary session.

A massive shout to @si_bonobo on his album release day. Such a pleasure to be part of another wonderful Bonobo album, and even getting to record the horns at my studio too. Excited to get back on the road and hear these songs turned up loud. Tour dates are up, shows are already selling out. Right, where are we off to first?? Let’s go!!

I didn’t for a second think that I would have the courage to ask these incredible musicians to play on my album, I was scared and so nervous to play my music to anyone, especially @michael_jablonka, @steve_pringle, Jasper Osborn and the wonderful @camillapayharp. I still need to record horns and strings but it’s coming together. Sometimes you have to step out of your comfort zone and say screw it, and if they laugh, just get a job in an office and forget you ever mention it.
Thank you Camilla, your playing on these tracks is out of this world! by @jackbakerdrums

Sometimes you have to lay it down, fun times on the @ludwigdrumshq kit. Also it's good to practise at show volume, which is something I always forget to do. No point in practising quietly then going on stage and blowing your arms up when playing twice as loud! by @jackbakerdrums

I used to listen to a lot of country music growing up, I loved the stories and the vibe it would put you in. I would listen to Dolly Parton when travelling across the southern deserts of America with the Bonobo crew, she helped me drift off into a world of imagination and hope. Seeing her perform at Glastonbury was possibly a highlight of my musical journey. I actually thought she would live forever, what a legend! She will be missed. #dollyparton by @jackbakerdrums

The first drum fill I play doesn't make any sound, not sure how I managed that but it looks cool. I'm also listening to bird noises to get me in the zone, nothing beats a seagull screech for musical inspiration! Have a nice weekend!

Yesterday was an absolute treat having the incredible @steve_pringle play on my new album (yes I said new album!). It was a joy and a pleasure to sit and listen to him play all day, thank you for being a part of this project Steve.
I’ll talk more about the “new album” soon.

It’s my birthday today. About 10 years ago I used one of those face apps to see what I would look like when I was older, I think it’s pretty close to what I look like now, pretty scary! Anyway, I’m looking forward to see what this year will bring, hopefully the multimillion pound yacht I’ve been manifesting! Fingers crossed! by @jackbakerdrums

It’s nice and cool in my studio today, I even put my trousers back on, the joys of living underground!

Having a blast on my lovely @gretschdrums Broadkaster. This kit has incredible deep tones, what a beast!

Hit me up if you need drums recording, I have some spare time available very soon

Still sketching out some musical ideas, keeping the mind fresh.
I've also been working on my stamina recently, playing straight semiquavers in unison around the kit, harder than it looks, 10 mins non-stop at 95 Bpm, give it a go, fun times!

Jamming out some ideas before the real musicians get involved. Something to do on a rainy day in my studio. Trying hard not to add 15 different cowbells on top, I just love overkill!
