💥 The next session of Wheel Throwing 101/102 with @jackhenryart is just around the corner!

🏺 If you’ve ever wanted to get your hands into some clay and learn to throw your own mugs, bowls, plates and more on the wheel, this class is a great way to begin your journey. It all starts with the basics - centering clay on the wheel and then learning to work that clay up into a cylinder. From there, the possibilities are endless!

☕️ This 8-week course will help you develop the basics for those new to clay, or help a seasoned beginner advance to the next level. We’ll do a demo each day, then everyone will transition to their own wheel for some hands on-exploration with the clay - I’ll be there to guide you each step of the way. Tuition also includes open studio hours to hone your skills outside of class time. Finally at the end you will glaze your own work and send it off to the kiln for their final magical transformation! 🔥

🏺 You’ll get your work back in time for the holidays, so this is also a great opportunity to create some handmade treasures for those you love ☺️

Head over to thevillagepotters.com for more deets and/or feel free to message me with any questions! I hope to see you there 😁

Had some exciting results out of this recent kiln firing & they are now parked at @artgardenavl just waiting for you to adopt & enjoy!

This has been the first #cone10reduction firing I’ve gotten to do since the flood wiped us out & it felt so good to see that magic again!! Super grateful for @thevillagepotters getting things up and running again so that our #claycommunity can take advantage of these opportunities once more 🥰

🎉🌿 And just like that — we are HOME.
What an absolutely incredible weekend. From our Gallery Preview Party to the GROW Gala, from workshops to mimosas and everything in between — this Grand Reopening has been more beautiful than we ever could have imagined, and it is entirely because of YOU.
To every artist who trusted us with their work and their heart — thank you. To every musician who filled our new space with sound — thank you. To every volunteer who showed up and gave their time, their energy, and their love — thank you. To everyone who donated, supported, cheered us on from near and far, and walked through our doors this weekend — thank you. You are the reason Art Garden exists. You always have been. 💛
After nearly two years of rebuilding, we are so deeply grateful to be back — and we are just getting started. 🌱
