Making this reel made me realize how much time we put into our work, chasing different goals that make us tired and sometimes forget what’s right in front of us. We get ourselves so busy that we forget to enjoy our kids while they are still small and here with us. When I see my kids’ toddler photos, I realize how fast time passes and how much I need to be present and grateful for the time I have with them now. Thank you, God, for this gift of time with my children help me to be present and to truly spend the time I need and they need from me. Help me to be wise and to discern what is truly important 🤎 by @jackiee.uy
Making videos like this makes me realize how beautiful life is and how grateful I am simply to be alive. ❤️ As parents, it’s easy to get caught up in responsibilities, worries, and the constant negativity and bad news around us. Sometimes we need to intentionally notice the good things that are happening right in front of us. Our children are watching how we see the world, too. When we slow down, appreciate simple moments, spend time together, laugh, explore, and express gratitude, we are teaching them to notice those things as well. 🌿 We cannot protect our children from everything difficult in the world, but we can help them grow up knowing that even during difficult seasons, there is still kindness, beauty, connection, and so much to be grateful for. #EmosyonBibo #GratefulParenting #MindfulParenting #ParentingJourney by @jackiee.uy
Feeling sick today so I went to the woods for “forest bathing” and the forest didn’t disappoint it surely made me feel better (like magic) at may pa take home pa. Nakaka happy ang forest + chanterelles. Thank God for nature’s healing power❤️ Feeling witchy witch ako ngaun, dream ko na maging herbolarya😅 Cooking chanterelle carbonara for dinner😋🍄‍🟫 by @jackiee.uy
Traveling to Italy with my lovely family. What a great way to celebrate being officially old! What? Am I really typing this now? Time flies! Thank you God for the gift of life🙏🏼❤️ Looking back, I realize that every chapter had its own purpose, and I’m truly grateful for all of it. In my 20s, I got to see and experience the world. I was naive, adventurous, and very idealistic. I genuinely believed I could change the world, and somehow, I wanted to try. I may not have changed the world, but those years gave me humility, experiences, lessons, and wisdom that changed me. In my 30s, life became more about figuring out what really matters and understanding who I truly am. I learned that there are things I cannot control and that I have my own limitations. I experienced burnout, and with it came the realization that sometimes we need to slow down, let go, and allow ourselves to be redirected. And now, as I enter this middle chapter of my life, I’m realizing that maybe I need to enjoy my life more, to show up for myself a little more, give myself more credit, and appreciate how far I’ve come. 🎶To make my own kind of music even nobody else sings along..🎵 I want to live this one life God has given me with more gratitude, grace, and courage, while still leaving room to grow. Thank you to everyone who greeted me, remembered me, and made my birthday extra special. 💕 They say life begins at 40. (Really? 😂) Well, I guess I’m about to find out. I’m excited to see what this next half of my life will bring. 🤍 See you there!!! by @jackiee.uy
