I promise I do actually enjoy this sport 😂

Thanks as ever to @whitelightsmedia.uk for the stellar photography. Last photo would be an absolute banger if I’d pulled it 🔥 taken in Nottingham Trent University, Clifton Ln, Clifton, Nottingham by @jacktaylor401

The best of BUCS.

6/9, 467.5kg total. Better things to come - the only way out is through.

Hitting the BUCS or whatever.

Really disappointing performance I feel. Missed all of my final attempts, which really cost me in the end. Still +5kg on my total PR for this weight category, but came in well below what I had been aiming for. Aiming for a lot better the next time around.

Squat:

175kg 🔴🔴🔴

Bench:

Deadlift:

As ever, huge thank you to @willhughes_pl @avalanchepowerlifting for coaching, handling, and dealing with me. Let’s do your coaching a bit more justice next time around taken in Nottingham Trent University, Clifton Ln, Clifton, Nottingham by @jacktaylor401

🐉🔥 Welsh Universities 2025 Recap 🐉🔥
Absolutely delighted with this performance. The path to BUCS (and beyond!) is set now, and the footage is pretty damn great too.

BUCS QT ✅
9/9 on lifts ✅

Not quite the total I would have liked, but it got me where I needed to be, which is a solid step. I seem to have missed all of the photos, but nonetheless I will keep going and see how hard we can push things in April 🙌🏻

Huge thank you to @_cubc_ for hosting, and Will at @avalanchepowerlifting for all of the supporting getting to this point ❤️ by @jacktaylor401

Gutted I couldn’t get the total I was hoping for, but had to take some risks in trying to top Swansea. Time for the off-season now before we go for that BUCS 2026 Q.T. Thank you to @_cubc_ and @swanseapowerlifting for making it happen

Now testify 🙌🏻

Last BCE post I promise, but had to get a reel out of such a great day. Can’t wait to show Swansea how it’s done and finally cross that 500kg threshold. Big things ahead.
