When I stood at the peak of Grouse Mountain for the first time, I found myself thinking about what 100 years truly means. Over the years, countless people have met and parted here, leaving behind their thoughts, memories, and stories to be carried from one generation to the next. In this piece, I wanted to express both the past and the future through two landscapes. The upper scene represents the 100-year journey that has brought Grouse Mountain to where it is today. The lower scene, with the mountain surrounded by morning mist, represents both the hope and uncertainty of a future we cannot yet see. Even when we cannot see where the path leads, the story continues. The first 100 years have already been written. Now, the next story begins. Steam Clock ~ Breath of Time ~ 40 Limited Edition The Vancouver Meisho Series – Drop No.2 The second release of my Drop Series is now available. After Lighthouse Park: The Golden Hour sold out, I received many messages asking if more editions would become available. Thank you so much for all of your support. For this release, I’ve decided to increase the edition size to 40 prints, making it a little easier for more collectors to own a piece of the series. This artwork captures Vancouver’s iconic Steam Clock—not simply as a landmark, but as a symbol of time, memory, and the traces we leave behind. The rising steam is painted with Japanese-inspired patterns, expressing something that exists only for a moment before disappearing.
