Hamburg-based compatriots Jacob Knob and Aii PS fuse their mischief-making frequencies for a very special four-hour mix recorded live at Horoom. The pair are a pivotal force on their city’s scene, deeply involved in Karoviertel’s Remoto-Rec, a vinyl hangout and community space pushing the kind of wonky, pepped-up house, electro and bass this double act have a deep intuition for. Knob is also promoter and keen vinyl collector (since 2010), and founding member of Boomerang Collective, whose events across Hamburg venues like Golden Pudel and Frappant showcase their distinctive Hummel sound and weave together fabled sets for their local clientele. In collaboration with record store and platform Morevi Records, the Remoto duo bring their acid-steeped beats and savvy mixing to Tbilisi for an offbeat showcase packed with saturated grooves and memorable moments. Bassiani Podcast 293 is a slick addition to the Podcast series, a back-to-back excursion into the pair’s extensive music repertoire, twisted rhythms and feel-good melodies fresh from the city of bridges. by @jacobknob

🎧🎀 We’re more than excited to be able to bring back one of our favourite djs to pudel: Vera

Looking at a decades long career, Vera has already had a residency in Robert Johnson in 2004 and has released on labels like Perlon or her own imprint Melliflow.
Vera is able to set a very special mood, not fixated on a single genre while maintaining an intimate and personal vibe like no other. Vera is a regular and some of the worlds finest adresses like houghton festival, waking life, garbicz, closer, the list goes on...

Support this time comes from Remoto’s own Jacob Knob who will dive deep into his vast collection and - for the first time at Pudel: Selsela who we noticed because he amazed us with his selection at one of our Remoto instore sessions. by @jacobknob

For our final session of the year we invited @yamour_ who has been gaining a reputation for her versatility as a DJ, serving both techno and house music with equal passion and commitment. As a vinyl purist, she has developed a signature sound that draws from the roots of US techno and house, yet maintaining a contemporary twist that ensures her sets feel both current and timeless.

The Berlin natives‘ deep-seated love and knowledge of music eventually led her to a coveted role at Hard Wax. During her four-year employment, she was able to refine her skills further, honing her ear for quality and sifting through countless records to unearth hidden gems that would later become staples in her sets.

Accompanied by two equally dedicated diggers and remoto co-operators @jacobknob and @konstipablo who are also involved in the @contact_boomerang collective, this night is without a doubt going to be filled with quality sound. by @jacobknob
