Spotlight:

yamyam is a Hamburg-based DJ and multidisciplinary artist whose sets explore the intersections of Bass, Electro, as well as Leftfield Techno and House. Mostly along thumping basslines, spherical pads, and syncopated rhythms, she aims to find moments that are both dancefloor-driven and sensitively textured. Mariyam is part of the EGYM collective and has performed on platforms like Operator Radio in Rotterdam and Relink:Data in Mexico City.

Atomlui has been a familiar face at Kiel’s Bunker Club for years and is part of the Humble Encounters collective. She’s now based in Hamburg, where she joined the Remoto-Rec. team and contributes to FR, FLINTA* Remoto series, helping shape the local community. Her records shape a sound that is deep, minimalist, and witty, moving along the edge of house and techno.

beccs (4EO) and acid Pablo (boomerang) are playing together for the first time, weaving together all kinds of acid-infused techno, house and trance to guide you into nightfall.

Hamburg-based compatriots Jacob Knob and Aii PS fuse their mischief-making frequencies for a very special four-hour mix recorded live at Horoom. The pair are a pivotal force on their city’s scene, deeply involved in Karoviertel’s Remoto-Rec, a vinyl hangout and community space pushing the kind of wonky, pepped-up house, electro and bass this double act have a deep intuition for. Knob is also promoter and keen vinyl collector (since 2010), and founding member of Boomerang Collective, whose events across Hamburg venues like Golden Pudel and Frappant showcase their distinctive Hummel sound and weave together fabled sets for their local clientele. In collaboration with record store and platform Morevi Records, the Remoto duo bring their acid-steeped beats and savvy mixing to Tbilisi for an offbeat showcase packed with saturated grooves and memorable moments. Bassiani Podcast 293 is a slick addition to the Podcast series, a back-to-back excursion into the pair’s extensive music repertoire, twisted rhythms and feel-good melodies fresh from the city of bridges.

Als Teil von Boomerang und Remoto-Rec. gestaltet JACOB KNOB die Hamburger Klublandschaft aktiv mit. Regelmäßig spielt er im Pudel, einer Institution für Subkultur und hat zuletzt in Tiflis’ finest Bassiani aufgelegt. Neben seiner monatlichen Radiosendung „Mount Joy“ bei Callshop Radio, betreibt der Leipziger DJ und Musikproduzent QNETE eigene Labels. Seine Sets nehmen Tänzer und Zuhörer mit auf eine Reise durch seine Plattensammlung, wobei der Schwerpunkt auf den tieferen und minimalistischen Nuancen der House-Musik liegt.

Willy fka Kinaesthetics und DJ Knusperflocke, ist Teil des Erfurter Projektes Triebwerk und des EXTC Kollektivs. Er ist ein fester Bestandteil der elektronischen Musikkultur in Thüringen und bekannt für seine detaillierte Vorstellung einer guten Klubnacht.

We’re still totally buzzing from this amazing weekend in Hamburg!

What a beautiull day with @werthealiens_label at @hafenklanghamburg. Huge thanks to @a.b.u._worlds @joel_ruck @i_am_melina_ @jakobseidensticker @_ella_hh @johannaelias___ @taller.__ for the lovely vibes and those beautiful sets — once again, a perfectly curated lineup from start to finish. And of course, massive love to everyone who danced with us — the energy was insane. Shoutout to the weather gods, too, for keeping the storm surge (mostly) at the docks.

Liebe Freundïnnen,
von Zeit zu Zeit sollten wir uns bewusst machen, welch großes Privileg wir genießen, wenn wir – umgeben von lieben Menschen und neuen Bekanntschaften – irgendwo zwischen Zeit und Raum bei guter Musik und leicht zerknautschtem Grinsen etwas erleben dürfen, das leider längst nicht selbstverständlich ist. Wir sollten daran denken, welch zerbrechliche Konstrukte wir gemeinsam erschaffen, und umso mehr bereit sein zu helfen, wenn wir nach Hilfe gefragt werden oder sehen, dass sie benötigt wird – das gilt sowohl für den Moment als auch für die nachgelagerte Zeit und die Zukunft. Am Expeditionswochenende, von Freitag, den 05.09., ab 23:55 Uhr bis Sonntag, den 07.09., um 22:00 Uhr, haben wir daher wieder viele feine Menschen aus Hamburg und von weiter her eingeladen, um uns genau daran zu erinnern und das oben Gesagte in die Tat umzusetzen. Man munkelt, im späteren Verlauf des Wochenendes gibt es auch die eine oder andere georgische Köstlichkeit für den Gaumen – also kommt vorbeigeschmeckt. Bis gleich!
