End of block lifts & thoughts.
Squat - 215 x 2
Bench - 140 x 3
Deadlift - 215 x 3

Squat is gaining some incredible momentum right now, I undershot the hell out of this set today and felt like I could have loaded 220-225 for the required RPE. Soft sleeves have become reliable!

Bench felt incredibly sloppy, I got greedy and chased the load cap here. The strength is there but my execution needs improvement.

Deadlift actually felt.. good? I’ve been working on my mindset a lot going into primary pulls and it’s helped an awful lot. @yando_af and I have also been discussing how they’re programmed, and I think we’re super close to finding some reliable and effective. I’m really happy with this.

Roll on next block!

The Commonwealth Championships 2026.

@alfiefogarty debuted at his first ever international competition in Winnipeg Canada, as well as being the first @undeniableperformance representative at the Commonwealth Champs.

Coming off of the back of All Englands just 3 months before, Alfie got the invitation to put on the England singlet for the first time; I’ve never seen a man so locked in in my life💀.

Finishing with an overall silver medal, as well as a squat silver and deadlift bronze and a 20kg total PR.

His progress has been incredibly consistent. Roll on The British next year🇬🇧

S - 205 dub
B - 150 single
D - 210 quad

Training update:

This has been the first block since AE 26’ that I’ve felt somewhat myself again, BW is still maintaining around mid to low 75s, squats feel good in soft sleeves, bench is at the 150 mark again, and deadlift don’t hurt!

No plans on competing this year, especially with @lucylifts_x and I getting married in Feb. The goal is to be strong of course, but only when it matters. I made an oath to myself that I wouldn’t get back on the platform unless I was about to perform to the standard I hold myself.

As always, the atmosphere at @strom_performancecentre is electric, forever grateful to train around like-minded, high energy individuals.

Cardio is fun now, I’ve picked up Padel 2-3x per week so that’s allowing me to burn enough calories to justify eating a lot more. Padel also scratches that competitive itch I get a lot too, in powerlifting we have to wait months for our competitive sporting moments so this really helps me get that out of my system and allows me to put my mind into what matters - stacking my chips and slowly building.

IPF SubJr Worlds 2026.

@beesg0buzz had the opportunity to compete at her first ever international in South Africa! With a fantastic prep, lots of positive changes made and full of confidence, Bee showed up ready.

Bee went 7/9, narrowly missing her third squat and bench due to technicals. If she had made them we’d have put on a sizeable amount to her subtotal, but on the world stage standards have to be immaculate. Coaching staff took the conservative approach with deadlifts and matched her ATPR, with plenty of room in the tank and a positive end to the day!

British Nationals 27’ is next for Bee, and after applying what we’ve learned from worlds I’m confident we’ll be on for a monumental day!

Some of the lads showed out at their regional comps recently! Recaps below.

WM Summer 26’
@davidthomaspl

First competition back together after a long hiatus, we immediately made some lasting changes to Dave’s training and got him out of his bench slump, and broke his third deadlift curse. Also debuting in the 74s, a nice start to a long career in this class!

502.5 (+30kg)

@marcin_k_szewski

After a stellar prep, and an obvious increase in strength, confidence was high! Unfortunately Marcins home scales were wildly wrong😅 which made the cut much harder than it needed to be. Regardless, he showed up and did this thing. The 105s will be seeing this man soon!

557.5 (=)

Swindon Summer Slam 26’
@cp19974

Christians third competition, and second working together. Strength on all three lifts is up dramatically, admittedly leaving kilos on the platform for squat and deadlift, the peak and taper gave this man a performance boost like no other. Bench let us down, otherwise we’d be on for a massive total PR. Super proud of how Chris handled the day, the heat and environment.

542.5 (+5)

Fred Sterry 26’
@tom_waters_lifts

Tom’s first ever competition, the plan was simple - show up, get some decent numbers on the board, and have fun. All three acquired! With a 9/9 day with a little bit of room left in the tank too. Excited to see what this man builds over the coming months.

477.5

All England Juniors 2026

@alfiefogarty

Prep had its peaks and valleys, from navigating training with minimal equipment for months whilst travelling through South-East Asia, to hitting insane ATPRs on all three lifts, preventing old injuries and managing a reoccurring shoulder issue.

Squat was in the best shape it’s ever been, and far better than any other competition by a mile, bench in the other hand had been majorly affected by a shoulder issue that we couldn’t shake, ultimately shaving ~10-12kg off - making that third pull onto the podium much bigger than it needed to be.

Nevertheless, commonwealth invite secured, and ticket stamped to Winnipeg, Canada for his first ever international. This is the beginning of a prosperous run of training and competing.

This man wants it more than anyone I know, and I’m excited to see where he lands.

A couple more high stakes competitions to recap here!

⚡️NEIL SIMPSON - BRITISH MASTERS ⚡️

Coming off of the back of Neil’s last competition we had a lot to work on, technically and physically - and masters ended up being the perfect showcase event for Neil’s efforts.

Nominated 3rd, going 3/3 on squat, then 3/3 on bench again we managed to close the gap significantly between 2nd and 1st. Unfortunately a small stumble on the deadlift opener caused a minor injury, so we paced as well as we could and took what was there - pushing us up from bronze to silver, and narrowly missing out on gold by 2.5kg.

Massive shoutout to Neil, handled the day like a warrior! The future is bright!

⚡️HARRY NEWBY - BENCH WORLDS 26’⚡️

After winning British SUBJR Nationals only a week prior to this, and taking our final heavy single there - we knew we’d prepped perfectly for bench worlds.

Nominated podium with some really strong lads, Harry and the coaching team trusted our big jump attempt selection methods and it paid off insanely well.

Just from making attempts and not taking unnecessary risks, harry secured gold on his second attempt, and pushed his lead even further with a 197.5KG bench on his third.

This year has been insane so far, half way through the year and 4 competitions deep - time for an off season, time to build more. taken in United Kingdom by @jacoblifts_

Postcards from week 3 session 3 & training update.

1 - secondary pulls, ascending 5s
2 - Incline bench 8s
3 - Pec deck till failure
4 - OH tricep ext till failure
5 - Lying hammy curls till failure
Not shown - stairmaster till dripping w/ sweat
6 - Some bad posing mid-cut

Strength is slowly starting to rebuild, really happy with how all three are moving. Some new tweaks to bench and deadlift have been implemented, as well as training exclusively in soft sleeves for squat now.

Me and @lucylifts_x are off to the south of France in a couple weeks, so I’ve been on a 4 week mini cut. Down from 76.5 to 75.3, hoping to reach somewhere between 74.0 - 74.5.

Enjoying the accessories and cardio a lil bit more since All Englands.

That’s all folks!

⚡️ JR & SUBJR NATIONALS was a blast ⚡️

HARRY NEWBY

What a show
9/9
+40.5kg
Broke the British bench record
Won gold as British Champion

Incredible day out for Harry, with a solid prep leading into this we’ve absolutely nailed the peaking process for the guy.

We had a great fight for first against Alfie Dean who surprised us with a big squat at the start of the session, we reached where we could and took a chip on bench, allowing us to skate through deadlifts knowing we had the win.

MILO ROUIS

Another 9/9 performance
27 white lights
+62.5kg

This is Milo’s second comp, and our second together - Milo showed the execution of a professional, no misses and no red lights.

We finished with kilos left in the tank, I’m excited to flesh this out in the next off season and put on another show leading into whenever his next competition will be.
