Some mid week fun. Went to check out @rudosluchas at Commons Park and got cooking on the @bhmcband album with @ericjuliocarranza at @museum.of.being. Don’t worry. We had plenty of eye protection from the summer sun and blazing hot tunes. by @jacobmullismusic

🎸 NEW SINGLE OUT NOW 🎸

“Have you ever lost a job because you spoke your thoughts too loud? Have you ever walked alone feeling the eye of night bear down?”

“No Witness, No Casualty,” the new single from Brandt, Hager, Mullis, & Carranza is a feminist rock anthem calling out the everyday indignities women push through and rarely get to name. The lyrics were written collaboratively by the band, with input from author Amy Fladeboe, and bandmates @themollybrandt & @amyhtrinidad trade verses building to a chorus made for yelling along:
“I see you see me / You see me see you / We’ve heard it all, let’s blow it up.”

With a pounding backing track from @ericjuliocarranza, @jacobmullismusic, and @drdiamonddavepower, it’s a perfect summer anthem! Stream it now. Recorded and mixed at @museum.of.being by @ericjuliocarranza , Mastered by @fantasticplanet_ by @jacobmullismusic

This new @bhmcband song, “No More Despair” means a whole lot to me (link in the bio to hear more). And making it with this stellar crew has really meant a lot to me. To get to start a new band with some of my favorite people and favorite songwriters is about as much a fella could ask for. We’ve got a pile of songs in the works that I’m so excited to share with everyone. All of the songs came in a rush as we were all very inspired by each others work, and very much needing to respond to all of the chaos that has been overwhelming our hearts and brains as of late.
