Untitled - 4 layer screen print, edition of 5 In making this series of prints, I was inspired by 80’s punk & rock n roll aesthetics, wanting to explore those themes through a more contemporary & editorial lense. The concept changed a lot throughout the process as I considered the kinds of images that exemplify the idea of the “rock star” to me. I ended up using an old Britney Spears cd fold-out-booklet-design as my primary reference for the kind of composition I wanted involving these transparent overlapping figures. by @jacobplz

for our final project in video 1 we were assigned the task of making a video with multiple moving “screens” this is what i made. it is about like the temporary euphoria of partying and the loneliness that lingers and looms when you know it is coming to an end. - the audio I used is a cut up instrumental version of infatuation by SOPHIE - used two bags of star shaped reflective confetti - looked up random strobe light videos off YouTube - had assistance from my friend Sarah who recorded me playing with the sparklers I had leftover from 4th of July 2025 anddd awkwardly dancing on the dancefloor by @jacobplz
