Are you a photographer with great images but no clue how to curate them into tight, impactful edits? No problem. My in-person class at @adorama (42 West 18th Street) on October 6th at 5 p.m. EDT will cover how to:
* identify your visual connectors
* decide what belongs (and what doesn’t)
* create a compelling sequence
* tailor your portfolio to the clients, publications, and opportunities you want to pursue.

If you can't get to the store, you can livestream it on the Adorama Events YouTube channel.

Saddened by the news of the legendary photographer Jay Maisel's passing. I first met Jay when I was 23. I was covering an industry party for Photo District News and was trying to take his picture. He told me I was pressing down too hard on the shutter button. I'll never forget it. Getting any type of advice from the great Jay Maisel was magical! RIP Jay. You were truly one of a kind ! ❤️ by @jacqueline.tobin

If you’re looking for something different to do, but you don’t want to go very far from Manhattan, I highly suggest going to the QC spa on governors island and then staying overnight at the Collective, which is a Glamping site. The staff is wonderful. The views are out of this world and anyone who knows me knows I’m not the camping type, but I can definitely do Glamping!! by @jacqueline.tobin
