After dragging my feet for quite a while, new pictures finally are here. I truly can’t say enough about the talents of @marcjfranklin (Photographer), @johnericiam (Stylist), @brittywhitfield (Makeup Artist/Groomer), and Mike Martin (Barber). The atmosphere of excellence in the studio created by Marc, Britty, and John Eric was unlike any other and helped me get over my personal issues taking pics. Each of them is top tier!!
There are so many other great pics that I have but I just chose these to post. If you have feedback, message me and let me know what you think.

The school year is over and I cannot believe that I have a HS graduate. There are so many things that I could say and that I have said but the few pics here illustrate, by the people who came from all over the country (including myself) to attend this graduation, that it took a true village to reach this point - and it will be even more necessary as he heads to Princeton. This week, “The Book of Mormon” will celebrate 15 years on Broadway! As part of the celebration, the show used new images in its advertising. Thanks to friends telling me, I learned my mug was on trash cans in Times Square. While I had taken pics of the cans, I didn’t get in a pic until my friend from tour, Big Mike, encouraged me. It made me laugh to pose with a NYC trash can but I had to do it! Give a hoot, don’t pollute!😄

This is a grateful parent post. Last week was a huge week for my son. He turned 18 at the start and then was accepted to Princeton University by the end of the week. It is an answer to so many prayers.

The first picture was taken when my son was 3 weeks old. When the photographer, Rob Greer, described that he wanted me to hold our infant son out on one arm, I remember thinking to myself “Please don’t drop him” and that’s been my prayer ever since. While I know that life will cause him to fall and the world will bruise him, I never wanted my actions/decisions to be the source of him falling. Working across country has often made me question if I’m doing the right thing, but to see his joy last week and watch his work throughout HS lets me know the sacrifice has been worth it.

Today is a big day at the Broadway production of “The Book of Mormon.” Four mainstays of our company, who collectively have done the show all over the world, are completing their missions today.

The first time that I saw “The Book of Mormon” was in Los Angeles in 2014. The Cunningham that day was Cody and now here we are 11 years later as he says his goodbye to Broadway.

Lewis is the only remaining principal from the original Broadway cast - having done the show since 2011.

P.J. has been in the Mormon family for 8 years and my dressing room mate for the past 3 years on Broadway.

Keziah has been in the Mormon Family for 11 years and has played my daughter on Broadway for the past year.

The great times and laughs that I’ve had with each of them on and off stage are endless! They are all so incredible and I’m going to miss each of them!! Thank you for sharing your lights with me and all of us!

The moment captured in the first image turns 18 years old today! That means it can now serve jury duty, buy a lottery ticket, vote (hopefully responsibly), skydive, work in a bar (but not yet drink in that same bar), or get a Costco membership. Decisions!

When “The Book of Mormon” recently passed “RENT” on the list of longest running Broadway shows, we were given permission by the Larson Estate to sing ‘Seasons of Love’ as a tribute to the occasion. My cast mate, John Eric, and I were asked to introduce the song since both of us made our Broadway debuts in “RENT.” Here is my portion.
For numerous reasons, this night was one of the most special in my career.

A few weeks ago, we performed the 5,000th show of “The Book of Mormon” on Broadway. In a random numerological coincidence, that exact night was also my 1,000th performance of the show on Broadway. So proud and blessed to be in this wonderful company!
I took pictures that night of me doing “yard work” outside of my hut and hanging with my next door neighbor in the show (who is my Phirst Pham Sister in real life).

When my Graduate School classmate, Paul, texted me that he would be making his Broadway debut a mere few hours later in the Roundabout’s production of “Yellow Face”, I immediately dropped everything in my schedule and said that I’d be there. At the time, I didn’t realize that one of our other classmates as well as another fellow UCSD MFA graduate would be there also. The community of artists and family who showed up, with barely any notice, to support him reminded me how crucial it is that we all continue to stand with and encourage each other (artists or not), especially now. Such a balm.
