wine and music party at nightmoves this wednesday :)

very excited to host our friend toshiya of @studiomule / @mulemusiq this wednesday 7/08 and early thursday. if you’re not familiar with studio mule - it’s one of our favorite listening bars in tokyo where the wine is taken every bit as seriously as the records and the taste level in both is unparalleled. on wednesday, toshiya will select some special wines to open from our cellar with nightmoves wine director @_derektolson. In the early hours, toshiya will be playing all japanese music and then later in the night will mix it up a bit with longtime nightmoves selector @jacquesrenault .

this is a really special one. come early for easier entry, but we will be hangin all night. 🥂 🍷 by @jacquesrenault

A DJ mix from the archive for the 1st time on Soundcloud 💫

This is a mix I made in the summer of 2009 for @dfarecs Radio mix series. At the time they were hosting exclusive mixes on their site and I was invited to make one by my friend @justinmillernyc 🤙 The tracklist includes some tunes that Justin and I were playing at our @205_tuesdays night the year before. Fun note, the first track / “In The City” edit was released on my “Tuesday EP” on @eugandeug Public Release label in 2010. So with that, have a blast from the past 🔊 link in bio

Special thanks to @danselzer for reminding me of it again 🙏
