🔁 “Breaking Generational Trauma - One DJ Booth at a Time”

✨ A 6-year-old. A DJ booth. A moment that changed me. 💫

At the Mindvalley VIP party in Amsterdam earlier this month, I watched my daughter dance beside the DJ; free, fearless, fully herself. No fear in her eyes. No doubt in her body. Just pure, unfiltered joy. 🕊️💃

And in that instant, I knew I had done it. I’ve spent my life healing from childhood trauma; breaking generational cycles so my children wouldn’t carry the pain I once did.

This video isn’t just a sweet memory.

It’s proof of concept that the hard work works.
✨ That trauma can stop with you.
✨ That healing is a legacy.
✨ That joy is the new generational inheritance.

@mindvalley.events, @mindvalley @mindvalley.stories , you created the container where this healing was celebrated, not hidden.

From MVU to this extraordinary party, your brilliance and intention fuel miracles like this. 🙏🌍

To every cycle-breaker, healer, and conscious parent watching this:

Follow me to learn what true transformation and behavioural change looks like in real life; messy, beautiful, and absolutely worth it. 🌱

Let’s keep rewriting the script for the next generation. Together. 💛

💥 **Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs): A Hidden Epidemic** 💥

✨ Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) are traumatic events in a child’s life before the age of eighteen, including emotional, physical, and sexual abuse, neglect, and exposure to household adversity, such domestic violence, substance abuse, depression, divorce, imprisonment. These experiences can alter the trajectory of our lives, affecting our health, relationships, and overall well-being well into adulthood.

ACEs can significantly impact our sense of safety and stability, leading to an increased risk of negative health outcomes, such as heart disease, substance abuse, and mental health conditions. Shockingly, six ACEs can reduce life expectancy by 20 years and increase the risk of suicide and imprisonment.

The World Health Organization’s 2022 Mental Health Report reveals that more than half of children aged 2-17 experienced violence in the previous year. These statistics highlight the widespread and urgent need to address ACEs.

✨ **My Story of Overcoming ACEs** ✨

I faced 9 ACEs in my life but chose to defy the odds and rewrite my story. In my book, *Turning the Tables on Trauma*, I share my journey of overcoming trauma and provide insights into how we can shift our mindsets to transform our lives.

Together, let’s acknowledge the hidden epidemic of child abuse and support survivors in their healing journey. My book pulls back the curtains of the shame a survivor endures but more importantly offers guidance, inspiration, and hope for anyone looking to break free from the impact of ACEs.

Get your copy of *Turning the Tables on Trauma* on Tues 23 Apr on Amazon and help someone take the first step toward deeper healing and empowerment.
