Just before Butler went on spring break, we concluded a wonderful visit from award-winning screenwriter and novelist Michael Farris Smith. Smith was gracious enough to take on some added duties during his visit by meeting individually with a handful of MFA students to discuss samples of their written work and offer constructive feedback. Despite some stormy weather the evening of his public reading, we were happy to see so many eager attendees join us for an inspiring lecture from Smith who shared how he became a successful writer later in life. Earlier that day he met with English students at the Efroymson Center for Creative Writing to answer questions and offer more life advice. Thank you Michael Farris Smith and all of you who participated in our many events during his visit to Butler University!

Little dump of my euro winter (because euro summers are overrated anyway) plus a stop in Tunisia :)

Wishing you all a very restorative and happy new year, here’s to returning to our roots and getting out of creative slumps by @jadascamera

Long time no post, but I’m back with good news….

I made a website!

I’ve been back and forth with my commitment to this passion of mine, but this is a step into the right direction! I’m getting more comfortable and confident with my professional identity as a photographer, and finally have a place to showcase my dedication to growing my craft.

I’m excited to build connections in the Indy community, and create some beautiful pieces in the process!

I’ve wrestled with designing the layout to my liking for a few weeks now, so to see my very (very very very very) hard work, click the link in my bio :) by @jadascamera
