Cap thrown, diploma in hand, and a heart overflowing with memories. 🎓

Six years ago, I walked through two heavy glass doors, unaware that I was stepping into a place that would change my life forever. I was just a kid—nervous, unsure, and completely oblivious to what was ahead. And now, somehow, I’m here—standing at the end of a chapter that’s meant everything to me.

It’s hard to put into words just how much this journey has meant. I’ve grown in ways I never thought possible. I’ve laughed until I cried, cried until I healed, and found people who became family in the most unexpected places. Being the “new kid” once felt scary, but looking back, it was the start of something beautiful.

At Latta, I found courage I didn’t know I had. I found my voice. I found my purpose. And most of all, I found a home.

I’ve learned that the little moments matter most—the quiet ones, the hard ones, the ones that felt ordinary at the time but now feel priceless. Even the long nights studying for algebra tests are memories I wouldn’t trade, because they were part of growing up—part of becoming me.

When I look back on these years, my heart fills with a mix of joy and sorrow. There are days I’m thankful I’ll never have to live again, and there are days I’d give anything to relive, even just once.

There will never be enough words to thank this school, these teachers, and this community for shaping me, challenging me, and believing in me.

Latta Public Schools, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Once a Panther, always a Panther.
