This year has been a the worst and best year of my life. 🫡 I lost many people who mean a lot to me and seen so much that makes everything kinda balance out.😂 The Lord makes things happen for reason and I need to learn to trust in him. This next year going to be me trusting God more and have more patience too. ✨HAPPY NEW YEAR ✨

Nationals 2025 was truly an unforgettable experience. Getting the chance to run for national office and make the Top 20 meant so much to me. While I wasn’t elected, I walked away with new friendships, lessons, and memories I’ll never forget. I’m beyond thankful for the journey and everything it taught me.

Now, I’m honored to serve as the 2025–2026 Oklahoma Vice President of Programs. I’m so excited to give back to the delegation that has always supported me and continue doing the work I love!

As I write this post, I am eternally grateful for three things: FCCLA, Parliamentary Procedure, and, most importantly, this wonderful team. We went from a group of students who had no clue what Robert’s Rules of Order even was, to now being recognized as one of the top ten teams of parliamentarians in the nation. Our bond as a team was like no other, and we truly made history as Latta FCCLA’s first ever group of Parliamentary Procedure competitors. I could not have asked for a better way to finish off my five-year career in the red blazer. Thank you always, FCCLA! ❤️✨

How can I ever truly express how grateful I am for FCCLA? This organization has given me more than I could have ever imagined. As a little kid following my mom to events I would have never imagined how much FCCLA was going to be a part of my life. However, from the second I walked into state convention my 8th grade year, I knew this was not just an organization, it is a home. It is a family that lives and supports each other in every aspect of life.

This past week I had the amazing opportunity to see the city of Orlando Florida at the National Leadership Conference. I judged Skills Demonstration Events as well as STAR Events, but most exciting was watching as Brandon Weibel took the stage as National President and the 2025-2026 Oklahoma State Officers led our state. Brandon I am so proud of you and grateful to have seen your journey as it played out. I know you will continue to accomplish amazing NC things. 25-26 SEC, I am honored to say that I know you all and have watched you all grow in this organization. You are great leaders and I know Oklahoma FCCLA is in good hands. Another highlight of my trip was watching as @tennyson.fccla got elected as the 2025-2026 National Vice President of Competitive Events!! I am so proud of you and know you will do a great job in this office and on this team.

One of the best parts of my trip, however, was getting to see a few members of my SEC team. Over the past year this team has become my family. They have been some of my biggest supporters and have truly become my best friends. To all of team 79 and Mrs. Phillips, thank you for making the past year the best year yet!!!

This past week at NLC was bittersweet. While I was so excited for Oklahoma FCCLA and all of its success, I was also sad that it would be the last time I put on my red blazer. I know that my story in FCCLA is not over, I am simply moving to the next chapter. While I may not be a member anymore, watch out because I will be back as the most amazing alumni, and I look forward to helping Oklahoma FCCLA grow in any way I can.

My last NLC… and honestly, what a way to go out. Watching Brandon hang up his red blazer for the last time hit me harder than I expected. He’s one of the biggest reasons I ever believed I had a place in FCCLA.

And then seeing Tennyson get elected VP of Competitive Events and my best friend make top 20? I’m beyond proud of them.

Team 80, thank you for making Orlando everything I hoped for and more. From the late night shenanigans to all the chaos, you made it all so special.

To every new friend I made this week, thank you for reminding me why I love FCCLA so much.

This might’ve been my last NLC, but these memories are going to stay with me forever. 🌹

Words can’t describe my gratitude for this organization, everything it stands for, and the people it has brought into my life. I was blessed with the opportunity to wear the red blazer one last time as I presented my final workshop & stood on stage as one of the Top 5 National Members of the Year.

If you know me, you know FCCLA is one of the biggest parts of who I am. Thank you to everyone who has supported me along the journey - I can’t express how truly grateful I am.

State Convention/Joint Council Post! I cannot express the gratitude that I have for the 79th State Executive Council. You have been the most amazing team and I know you all have bright futures ahead of you. Joint council was a bittersweet day because even though I am sad to say good bye to my term, I am so excited to see what the new team will do. You are all so amazing and I am so proud of each and every one of you. Oklahoma FCCLA thank you for letting me serve you this past year!🌹
