Meng Model has officially unveiled the 72-003a 1/72 U.S. Main Battle Tank M1A2 SEP Abrams TUSK II (Accurate Colour Edition)

Designed specifically to eliminate the mess and setup of painting, this release comes pre-finished in an authentic desert yellow base coat paired with professional factory weathering. Recesses, panel seams, and armor joints feature multi-layered pin-washes and subtle grime effects that bring out realistic combat depth while preserving every fine surface detail—from the TUSK II ERA tiles to the engine grilles, rivets, and optical housings.

No mixing paints, setting up airbrushes, or damaging fragile photo-etch during weathering. Nip the parts from the sprues, glue them together, and apply the decals done - an instant, museum-quality 1/72 modern armour display piece.

Meng 1/72 M1A2 SEP Abrams TUSK II Accurate Color Edition (72-003a) available soon.

What’s your take on factory pre-painted and weathered kits—a total game-changer for quick, effortless bench progress, or does painting and weathering them yourself take away half the fun of building?

It’s #ThrowbackTamiyaTuesday, and we’re taking it back to 1983 with an absolute 2WD off-road legend—The Frog! 🐸⚡️

The iconic space-frame chassis, pink and white liveried body shell, and spiked rear tyres defined a generation of backyard RC racing. The best part? It’s still available today and still as much fun as you remember! Whether you’re reliving your childhood build or introducing a new generation to classic Tamiya magic, this iconic buggy is ready to tear up the lawn all over again.

Who built one back in the day, and who’s got one on their wish list right now? Let us know in the comments ⬇️

Steve here - I’ve just been down to the shop floor and I am genuinely shocked… Ch***tmas stock is already making its way onto the shelves. 😱🎄(Where are we supposed to put the easter eggs?)

Help me win a heated debate here at Jadlam, Is October officially TOO EARLY for the Ch***tmas range, or when is the socially acceptable time to start putting it on the shelves?

Are you a "not until December 1st!" purist, or are you secretly already buying stocking fillers for the bench?

Let me know so i can put a stop to this nonsense👇🎁

Was it fast? No. 🐢
Did it handle well? Absolute chaos. 📐
Was it indestructible? Debatable!💥

So why is the Tamiya Lunch Box STILL one of the greatest RC cars ever made? Because nothing delivers pure, unfiltered fun on four wheels like popping a massive wheelie across the garden! 🟡✨

What do you think—is the Lunch Box the king of classic RC, or is another vintage kit taking the crown?

Drop your pick in the comments below! 👇
