One thing I learnt early: stop caring about what people think of you.

Live to please them? They’ll judge you.
Live for yourself? They’ll still judge you.

So you might as well be authentically YOU, build the life you want and get judged anyway. 😂

Confidence grows when you stop seeking approval from everyone else.

I became a mum at 19, and one thing I’ve learnt is that you’re allowed to grow alongside your child.

I don’t always get it right. I’m still learning, adjusting and figuring motherhood out as she grows too.

For me now, it’s less about having everything or being the “perfect mum” and more about routine, presence, faith, education, emotional
wellbeing, experiences, confidence, communication and creating a safe home. 🤍

Your children don’t need perfection they need your willingness to keep learning and showing up.

Becoming a mum young taught me that sometimes you don’t need advice you need a safe space to talk, be heard and be understood.

I’ve learned so much through motherhood, relationships, healing, identity and simply growing up while raising a child. And one thing I know for sure is that there are conversations both women and men are carrying that we don’t have enough safe spaces to have.

I’m 30 now I know better.
I put so much pressure on myself as a teenage mum to prove I was a “good mum.” 🥺

Looking back, I realise I didn’t need to have everything figured out. I was growing up alongside her. 🤍

It was her first time doing life, and my first time being a mum too.
