Why We Carry

“You may not believe in guns or god. But if you’re life’s in danger, you’ll call a person with a gun and pray they get there in time”.

In light of this weeks climate of: port strikes, ww3, currency exchanges, and the seemingly overall impending doom of life as we know it, I felt that it was a good time to drop my first post about why we carry firearms.

The above pictured is my edc or “every day carry” set up. Well almost. The pistol featured isn’t my actual carry, more of a duty gun. But the idea is the same. An analog watch to tell time, a wallet with cash to exchange goods, car keys to get me gone, a bag filled with all sorts of life saving goodies (we will talk more about this in another post), and a gun for preservation of life.

Now I know that gun culture in America is a controversial topic at the moment. And honestly has been for a while. But let’s take a second to take politics out of it and just look at the facts. If you don’t have a gun, you are at a disadvantage to someone who does. Period. Maybe this comes from a poor childhood upbringing, the will to survive, or just a plain old issue with control, but I don’t like being at disadvantages. Especially when it comes to my life. So thus, I carry firearms! Pretty cut and dry.

If the media has forced a thumb up your butt so far that you cant even fathom the thought of carrying a gun to protect your life, and the lives of those you love, than maybe this page isn’t for you. But if you have an open mind. If you’re willing to hear some honest opinions from someone who’s lived the experience first hand, then stick with me. I have a lot to share. Welcome to the page.

Stay Ready.

Tag your favorite pew pew content creator, product designer, enthusiast, or just your overall favorite person, and tell them there’s a new kid on the block 😎.

In all seriousness, it’s time to take this thing serious. And what better way to officially start my pew pew career than by being invited to the best range day ever, #iv8888rangeday2024 .

This thing was nothing short of breathtaking. My ear protection got torture tested, my arms and face got covered in gun powder, my hands shook for hours, and I loved every minute of it.

Being on the east coast, it can be hard to find like minded individuals, when it comes to pew pew culture. But here, everyone felt like the neighbor you actually want to say hello to. Great conversations, innovative ideas, and lots of laughs.

Big thanks to @iraqveteran8888_official for putting this on every year. And special thanks to the homies from @bnbtacticalco @instructor_kelly @kingjames_theinstructor for making me a part of the team. Can’t wait to see this journey unfold.

Shout out to the people that made this day happen!

Its hump Wednesday. So let’s take it back to a better time when we were at #iv8888rangeday shooting @devildogconcepts Side Chargers.

These things were so dope. Truly an innovative design that allows you to clear malfunctions while staying engaged on target. AND doesn’t require any modifications to your gun. Just swap the charging handle and you’re golden. Stay tuned for some reviews on these guys. @devildogconcepts @sidechargerceo @iv8888_range_day_group
