Hiiieee - I’m Jaime, a millennial mama who runs on reheated coffee, Hawaiian reggae and my dog park workouts🤣

If you’re new here, welcome to the WAVES wellness village

This page is dedicated to moms and families and figuring out what real self-care looks like in everyday life. (Not the 2 hr morning routine kind)… the kind that’s messy, doable, and helps you feel like yourself again while still showing up for everyone you love. 🫶

I believe when moms are supported, everything changes. We have more to GIVE!

And we begin rebuilding what I call a modern-day village in a world that often feels like we’re meant to do it all alone.

A little about me… I’ve been in the wellness space for over a decade as a creator, speaker, and guide. But my real training has been life: navigating anxiety, burnout, and completely losing and rebuilding myself in motherhood. Everything I share now comes from both lived experience and years of studying self-care, nervous system health, and sustainable habits for real life.

Some people are a prayer answered in human form.

we were never meant to do this life alone. And when we meet those people who remind us who we are - keep them close.

there is someone out there who will believe in you, open a door, make an introduction, sit with you in the hard season, dance with you in the good one… and remind you that you have a village. That no matter what they are going through they will be there right with you

and sometimes one person changes everything.

I’ve known her for YEARS and she is truly one of the sweetest humans - adventurous, artistic, fun, soooo thoughtful and the kind of woman who is always down for an adventure. And pets kids love her cuz she’s got the Snow White nurturing vibes too!

And guess what? She’s open to meeting her person. 🥹❤️

It also happens to be her BIRTHDAY (Oct 12🎂 so what better birthday gift than letting the village do its thing?!

I don’t share this from the other side of it.

I’m still in it.

I lost my job. friendships changed. money got tight. I don’t know how every bill will get paid or exactly what my future looks like.

and yet… I’ve never felt better in my soul.

my faith has never been stronger.

so I’m staying steady like this tree. planting seeds. watering what matters. protecting my energy. letting go of what doesn’t belong in this season.

I don’t know what God is doing yet.

but I trust Him.

and if you’re in the messy middle too, maybe this reminder is for you. 🌱

My prayer today is for the women of the world.

May we hear Gods voice louder than anyone else. May we hear over the distractions and the noise. May we remember our strength lies within our love and that same love is what the world tells us we need to keep sacrificing ourselves for.

In the name of love and I’m here to say I believe motherhood is my ministry and I am thankful to be strong in mind and heart to be so connected spiritually and to have a village and I can only imagine the women who don’t have this and I pray for them.

I pray that she remembers who she is. I pray that she gets back up and support meets her where she’s at. May God bless her with so much abundance and love so she has more to give

And I pray humanity. May we remember we are ALL brothers and sisters and we must come together to be the light through the darkness

The patterns are hard to break but well worth it.

For generations and as long as I can see women have been put in a position of being less than and it shows even in my own life.

This is not to shame guilt or call any person or identity out this is to share what’s been on my heart for a decade. Systems are broken and we are living in a time where we can actually do something to be the change.

I believe we are the change and it’s time we discuss what that looks like. by @jaimemcfaden
