I’m SO grateful for how God has used my first book, Carpe NOW, and now, after TWO YEARS in the making, I’m holding book number TWO in my hands.

1 Corinthians 11:1 KJV
“Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.”

Your greatest influence is not what you say, post, or teach, it is the Christ people can see IN your life.

Jesus didn’t just call us to make decisions; He called us to make disciples. Discipleship requires relationship, proximity, accountability, encouragement, and correction. In a world that is increasingly high tech, the Church must remain high touch. Technology can communicate information, but transformation happens through relationship.

Spiritual maturity means becoming a pattern others can safely follow because you are following Jesus. Let your character preach when your mouth is silent, and let your private devotion produce your public life.

The goal is not for people to become like you, but for your life to faithfully point them to Jesus. Live in such a way that those you lead can follow your example, receive your accountability, and ultimately be marked by Christ.

Lord, make my life an accurate reflection of Jesus. Give me the humility to receive accountability and the faithfulness to disciple others. Help me be present, intentional, and relational in a high-tech world. May my life point people to Jesus. Amen.

18 years married to my best friend.

She was beautiful then, and she’s even more beautiful today. I am SO INCREDIBLY BLESSED. Words could never fully express the depth of what I feel for her, for our marriage, and for the life we’ve shared together.

It’s not one singular moment or event that makes marriage so special—it’s the journey together.

Through the blessings, the struggles, the sadness, the jubilation, the victories, and the uncertainty, one thing we’ve learned is that the only thing consistent about life is its inconsistency.

Without complete reliance on God and devotion to His ways, we are at a loss. But with Him, joy, contentment, peace, desire, and PASSION can remain fresh and new in every season—and can even get BETTER.

Our life is not simply marked by two people who stayed together. It is marked by a FAITHFUL GOD who has sustained us, led us, carried us, corrected us, blessed us, and remained constant through it all.

18 years later, I’m still grateful to walk this journey with my best friend.

ONE YEAR TODAY.

We’ve officially been in Ohio for one year today.

I don’t even know where to begin. So much has transpired over the last year.

At the beginning of this week, I felt God calling me into a three-day fast—just water. I didn’t really understand the significance of the timing until I realized I would be ending the fast TODAY, on our one-year mark.

And then I remembered something deeper.

Last May 2025, God led me into a three-day fast to seek Him and discern whether my family and I were truly being called to this mission in Canton.

On May 25, Jesus made it abundantly clear:

SELL EVERYTHING and GO.

So we did.

We left California, sold what we had, packed up our family, and came to Ohio to help start this new church and serve this city.

One year later, I can tell you that the poverty, crime, brokenness, and spiritual NEED throughout this area are of a magnitude that is difficult to explain. And honestly, that’s an understatement.

But I can also tell you this:

GOD IS MOVING. 🔥

This year has stretched us in ways we could have never anticipated. There have been victories and battles. Provision and sacrifice. Tears. Incredible relationships. Lives changed. And countless moments where we’ve simply had to TRUST GOD.

And one year later, that’s really where we still are.

Trying to be faithful.

Taking it one day at a time.

Trusting that the Lord will do what He said HE WILL DO.

We don’t have to figure everything out.

We’re just here to be obedient. 🙇🏻‍♂️

Today, my heart is simply FULL of gratitude. Grateful for my family. Grateful for every person who has prayed for us, encouraged us, supported us, and walked alongside us. And most of all, grateful that Jesus would allow us to be a small part of what He is doing here.

Yesterday was truly a day of days.

Two HOUSES CELEBRATING ONE TRUTH: JESUS was, JESUS is, and JESUS will ALWAYS be the ONE TRUE KING.

We may be the “new kids on the block,” having been here less than two years, while Pastor Bill and the incredible team at Frontline Ministries have faithfully served this region for more than 30 years.

From the beginning, no church has welcomed us with the warmth, kindness, and open arms that Pastor Bill and Frontline have shown us. We are deeply grateful for their friendship, their example, and the way they have embraced us.

Different seasons. Different stories. Different houses. ONE KING.

God is preparing HIS BRIDE, for Christ is coming again. He will come like a thief in the night, and we must be SOBER, ALERT, and READY for His return.

May the Lord’s remnant UNITE and stand firmly for the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE—which can only be found in JESUS CHRIST.

CONTEND FOR THE FAITH

Some days are easy. Some days are HARD. And some days our feelings tell us the exact opposite of what we KNOW TO BE TRUE.

That’s why we stay rooted in the WORD OF GOD and keep pursuing the presence of JESUS.

Don’t let your feelings lead you. Let His Word lead you.
