1 Corinthians 11:1 KJV
“Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.”

Your greatest influence is not what you say, post, or teach, it is the Christ people can see IN your life.

Jesus didn’t just call us to make decisions; He called us to make disciples. Discipleship requires relationship, proximity, accountability, encouragement, and correction. In a world that is increasingly high tech, the Church must remain high touch. Technology can communicate information, but transformation happens through relationship.

Spiritual maturity means becoming a pattern others can safely follow because you are following Jesus. Let your character preach when your mouth is silent, and let your private devotion produce your public life.

The goal is not for people to become like you, but for your life to faithfully point them to Jesus. Live in such a way that those you lead can follow your example, receive your accountability, and ultimately be marked by Christ.

Lord, make my life an accurate reflection of Jesus. Give me the humility to receive accountability and the faithfulness to disciple others. Help me be present, intentional, and relational in a high-tech world. May my life point people to Jesus. Amen.

Lord, set our hearts on fire behind closed doors, so we can stand boldly in Your power before the world.

Philippians 3:10 KJV
10 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death.

Lord, let us carry Your presence into every room, every city, every family, and every sphere You have entrusted to us.
May we never confuse popularity with purpose.
May we never trade conviction for comfort.
Raise up more believers in Canton, Ohio and beyond who cannot be bought by applause.
and cannot be silenced by opposition.

PRAYERFUL... BUT PRIDEFUL

Did you know you can be STRONG but WRONG?

Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.
James 4:3 (KJV)

Some prayers go unanswered not because God isn't listening, but because our desires are leading the conversation instead of HIS WILL!

Prayer isn't about convincing God to endorse our plans. When our motives are driven by pride, comfort, recognition, or selfish ambition, we pray amiss and MISS THE MARK!

Don't seek what feeds your flesh. Seek what fulfills His purpose.

Prayer is like the AIR we need to breathe!

Prayer is where:

Flesh is crucified.
Motives are examined.
Pride is broken.
Faith is strengthened.
Wisdom is received.
Power is imparted.
The will of God is revealed.

Pray for His will over your wants. His Kingdom over your comfort. His glory over your gain.

Called to Be a Witness

“But sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts, always being ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, but with gentleness and respect.”
— 1 Peter 3:15

The Lord has given each of us a testimony, and that testimony is one of our strongest witnesses.

But notice the first part of the Scripture: “Sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts.” Before we speak for Jesus, He must first be LORD within us. The question is simple: Is Jesus your EVERYTHING? Is He truly Lord of your heart, your life, your decisions, your words, and your witness?

If He is, then you already have a testimony. That testimony is part of your DEFENSE for the faith within you.

God has not called everyone to be a scholar, pastor, or theologian, but He has called every believer to be a WITNESS. You do not need to have every answer before you open your mouth. You carry the hope of glory within you. You house the LIVING GOD. You have encountered Jesus, and that testimony matters.

Your testimony is not small. Your story is not insignificant. What Jesus has done in you can become the very thing He uses to AWAKEN FAITH in someone else.

So let us be BOLD and COURAGEOUS. Let us preach the TRUTH to our families, friends, workplaces, and communities. At the grocery store, at the gas station, in passing conversations, and in divine appointments—we are called to be SALT and LIGHT.

But we must never forget how Peter tells us to do it: with gentleness and respect.

Our witness must carry the spirit of Christ. Our defense of the faith must not be harsh, prideful, or argumentative. It must be ROOTED IN LOVE. As 1 Corinthians 13 reminds us, without love, we are only a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal—ultimately, without love, we accomplish nothing.

Truth without love can wound. Love without truth can deceive. But truth spoken in love can TRANSFORM someone’s life.

May we sanctify Christ as Lord in our hearts and BOLDLY give an account for the hope that lives within us.

With DEEP Fervent Love,
Pastor Jake

Stop and Pray for 60 Seconds. It Could Transform Your Day!

The God who parted seas, raised the dead, and turned impossibilities into testimonies has not changed.
One encounter with Him can rewrite what years of effort could not.

Take 60 seconds. Pray with faith. Expect His power to move where human strength cannot.

"Ah, Lord GOD! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for You." - Jeremiah 32:17 by @myresnation
