Happy 3 year Beeston Media anniversary to Jake! 🎉

Three years ago, we invited @jakemchristian to join us on a one-month trial, swapping his London base for Bristol. Fast forward to today, and he has fully made the South West his home.

Like all our crew, Jake both shoots and edits, but we particularly value his ability to tackle all of our technical needs. If you’ve ever seen any of our ‘behind-the-scenes’ films, it’s more than likely Jake was behind the camera. by @jakemchristian

📸 Part II of Julia Wolf on tour.

I started experimenting with filters during the lost american tour to create a varied yet consistent feel across the shows. Do you prefer the halo spirals, or the kaleidoscope?

I’m also available all year for shows, tours and content as well 🎥 taken in Europe by @jakemchristian

🎥🥊 Behind the scenes of how I capture professional boxing.

I’ve been a videographer & editor for over a decade and for much of that time, I’ve worked in live events and one of those is both amateur and professional boxing.

Here’s what a day in my life doing that can look like and the type of setup I work with, although that does change depending on the production and scale of the shoot.

I’m always available for video and photo work whether it’s events, sports, music or anything else. If you have a project coming up, get in contact and let’s create and capture together 🙏🏼 taken in Meca Swindon by @jakemchristian

📸 Unseen photos from the lost americana tour.

Where do I even start with the tour? From being an unreal opportunity, a dream that became reality. I did my best work (so far) on this tour, but it was so much more than just that. To feel what EST really meant in 9 different countries when you’re so far from home but actually, you feel right at home is an unbelievable feeling. The era might be ending, but the feeling will live on forever. This tour gave me so much and I’ll always be grateful for that and everybody who was a part of that.

Let’s take a moment to say RIP to the photos still sitting on my hard drive that probably won’t see the internet, because we have to focus on what’s next 🫡.

Thank you to everybody I met, reconnected with and spent time during that unbelievable month. ✖️✖️ taken in Europe by @jakemchristian

The lost americana tour may have come to an end, but the era of this album and everything it encapsulates will always remain with us. From bringing so many people together, the art and the memories that would’ve never been created without every detail of both the album and the live shows. We are eternally grateful for every second. This will live on with all of us and we hope we can take this energy into future albums and tours. Everybody stand together, everybody still together. @machinegunkelly We will always show up, to every era. - Vivien & Jake.

A special thanks to the team who made it all possible:

🎥 A music video I shot and edited last year for Yung Zilo’s latest song ‘Down’.

We hired a studio, made a plan and shot this in a few hours. Lighting and storyboarding played a huge part in this entire project and it turned out exactly the way we wanted.

Check out the full video on YouTube and if you’re looking for a music video, promo, photos or any content send me a DM and let’s make it happen just like this 🫡

Very excited to say I’ve teamed up with @xoxo.studios.official to edit for them!👨🏽‍💻

This was a fun project to work on and honestly such a great team full of ideas, knowledge and wanting to push everything to be the best it can be. The full video is out now on their YouTube, but here’s the intro I’ve put together. What’s everyone think? taken in Bristol, United Kingdom by @jakemchristian

🎥 Throwback to another album cover I shot a few years ago. This happened during a huge content trip.

I travelled with @officialrevrap and two friends to Switzerland where we shot a music video (not the one in this post), a bunch of YouTube vlogs and created as much photo and video content as possible for other future releases. One of those photos, actually ending up becoming the cover for this single.

This is one of the best ways to truly maximise a trip, instead of only focusing on one video we made use of every opportunity we could.

It’s fun looking back at old projects now, I remember having issues with masking this at the time and I can see it 😂. But that’s the beauty of it, I can see how far I’ve come and how much more I’m capable of now than I was before.

What are some of your favourite album covers you’ve seen? I’d love to shoot some more this year and hopefully some in a studio as well. taken in Switzerland by @jakemchristian
