Landry here. One last post, and yes, I approved the photos.

2018 to 2026. Ten…ish pounds. Never once underdressed.

A few things for the record:

Paté at breakfast.
Dad split his filet with me at dinner, which was correct.
Mom and Dad were my whole heart. The rest of you were also pretty wonderful.

I had six human siblings and let each one believe they were my favorite. That’s talent.

I deep-sea fished. I après-skied. I summered on the occasional yacht. I slept until nine, and I highly recommend it.

I had a brief career, too. Visual Comfort. Dallas Market. Great lighting. A diet puppy Coke with the girlies. I stayed right next to Jake the whole time, because somebody had to keep an eye on him.

But that wasn’t really my job.

My real job was loving my people.

When they were sad, I sat with them.
When life felt heavy, I stayed close.
When someone needed a little comfort, I was very good at that.

So keep it going for me.

Dress up.
Split the filet.
Sleep in.
Sit with someone who needs you.
Love your people well.

I had a beautiful life, and I knew I was loved every single day.

And above all, I wish you love.

Louisiana. Not a careful color in the whole city. Man in a black tank top seated at a marble table at Café Du Monde in the New Orleans French Quarter, plate of beignets and iced coffee beside him. by @jakewikander

Laughter, love, and a little chaos – that’s the secret sauce of our family, thanks to the real superheroes, my parents. Through thick and thin, six kids, and a furry sidekick named Landry, they’re the heart and backbone that keep us going strong. 💪❤️ #FamilyMVPs taken in Home Sweet Home by @jakewikander
