I just been thinking about all the rappers we’ve grown up on and how At this point there are very few that stand for the values fostered in Hip-Hop & its cultural traditions and practices.

Idk if I have idols like that anymore.

It’s the same cycle. The same system & industry that extracts the labor of artists for profit is the same system & the same industry that will profit off of the artists’ deaths as well. I believe we are bigger than this. Thats all.

This is what they think about you.

dead.broke 10/6

If you feel how I feel about rappers & every other category of person with a platform not using it to speak up & speak out against the many ills plaguing us during these times, then I’m sure this will resonate. If you feel the same way, lmk.

True story.

There’s so many layers of real life that had to happen for me to be able to even create this song in the first place. And to be in a place now where I can share it with other people who might have been through the same really does mean a lot to me.
