Some of the cultural and traditional performances for the Jamaica Independence Day Celebration. The Jamaica folk culture is alive and well and the work of organizations like ours is to ensure that the culture never dies. While the generation of Jamaican Americans enjoy Jerk Chicken and Beef patties, we need to show them through these types of cultural expression in dance and art where we are coming from. taken in Boston, Massachusetts by @jamcdf
